Haha, yes it's very annoying the glass pieces everywhere. The top glass is very easy. I do understand those guy they want more $ and will not do work that would or can cause them issues later since they are a big company. Glad you got it fixed 🙌🏽

@@KingKahana i ordered mine from a seller off ebay (2014yiyang888). im not sure if the one i ordered is genuine, but it did have the little QR on the inside. shipped from china, took about 9 days to get here. i have the sorta sunny p6pro, and i guess it's just harder to find replacement parts for this colorway? there's tons of options for black and white, just not too many for yellow. wherever you end up ordering this piece from, just make sure it's actually glass. there are some plastic options available as well (although plastic might honestly be a more durable replacement tbh)

You're welcome, I did a more recent video on the Pixel 7 Pro which is essentially the same thing. Check that video to at least have an idea on how I removed the glass and kept the wireless charging circuit and nfc.

Since their is a size difference they might slightly differ, but am not 100% sure it's different. Hopefully by now you got something from the internet

So I can finally answer myself, yes the rear top piece of the Pixel 6 (not the 6 Pro) is plastic and not glass, so I would recommend heating it up a bit and removing it from the corner when it starts to come off.

Hey bro sorry for the late response. You're right top P6 is plastic that's why I didn't bother showing show to replace that parts. P6pro top is glass like you said 👍🏽.

You can get a set of glass with adhesive pre-installed. For the Pixel 6 everything was separated (my firsts videos on the cam glass) I redid the Pixel 6 Pro Camera Glass after a teardown and that part was good. @@ersbit No problem! Thank you very much, I've finally managed to replace both the top rear and the camera glass. Btw, using a needle to leverage through the mic hole can be an easier solution to remove the camera backglass, I have managed to take it off in only 5 secs, I would recommend applying some tape over it to prevent glass projections. Unfortunately you have to replace the wireless charger stuff from the inside (remove the screen, open the phone remove everything including battery then locate the wireless stuff)

Right now I think best bet is eBay but I could not find any. Maybe in a month or two parts will start popping in ebay. Right now its only the back glass, camera glass and camera module. lol I was looking for parts two months ago. Seems like these Pixels are not getting the immediate and full attention of Chinese resellers/suppliers. (Device been out since November 2021 lol)

Hello, 😅 sorry to hear you got the same issue with the charging coil. It's simply a bad design. I stopped looking for the coil after these videos. Even on eBay I could find it. Just checked again nothing. It's simply a shame to wait 6 months for replacement (aftermarket) to arrive. Maybe the wireless coils will show up end of the year 🤷🏽‍♂️. Thank for sharing your experience 👍🏽

Oh yes. When you do yours let me know how it goes. No need to be rude. On internet there's no other video of these replacement. From what happened to me here and on the Pixel 6 (back replacement...it's coming shortly) it's kinda very self destructive (wireless pad) while removing the glass. On the Pixel 6 😂 same thing happened more about that in the video on the Pixel 6. So I do make mistakes or self inflicted destruction when it's impossible to do without. Making that YOU know that you have 95%-99% of wireless pad damage if you try to replace the glass. At least am happy people will try this with that in mind 😄. So after the Pixel 6 back glass replacement....I concluded that if you truly want to same the wireless pad you will need to either buy a replacement in case it got damage (best case) or do a full teardown remove everything from the inside (2hr and hopefully you don't make some other damages "break the screen") and remove the wireless pad with some alcohol or glue disolver then remove all the broken glass from inside do the replacement for the back glass and reassemble everything. That the safest way to avoid damaging the wireless pad. Hopefully I gave you another solution but this is more involving and time consuming. I would say me with my hands on experience It would take me 1hr maximum to do everything. So without experience maybe 2hr to 3hr (because you don't want to damaged something else while removing everything from de device) 👍🏽

Yes. Seems very hard to accomplish without a cut through the wireless flex cable. I tried the same on a Pixel 6 😅 cut through the wireless flex cable again.

@@ersbit I believe you have to take the whole phone apart from the front, to disconnect the cable. Otherwise there's no way to even replace it if you had a replacement coil. I do with they dealt with the coil connection in a different way, so then you could just make the coil and the back plate one piece. They did a great job with the replacement of the front screen, just kind of messed that up with how fragile the back is.
