I use this phone every day and I still accidentally turn my phone off because the power button is in the wrong spot. They do need to give us a charger block, and make the phone more customizable for us. I like setting my phone to look the way I want it, but Pixel is telling me what my home screen should look like and I have a problem doing what I'm told

I used to own the Pixel 6 and I hated the slow fingerprint sensor and a few other things I was not crazy about...I just got the Pixel 7Pro...and it's a whole new phone. Absolutely BEAST all around!!

I don't mind the volume buttons being lower. I use the volume buttons more than the power button, so it's convenient that it is more accessible. But I don't switch between different often phones, so I didn't even notice the placement being different.

miss the squeeze gestures from pixel 4. the pixel 4XL had issues but I sure loved using it. true Face unlock was fantastic and the 90hz display made everything super smooth.

I have the Pixel 6 Pro and have really enjoyed the experience (haven't had the modem issues commonly reported). It's the first time I used the fingerprint reader, but I had the 4XL and LOVED the Face Unlock (still miss it) I'll probably wait for the Pixel 8 Series, because it seems that Google's first iteration of tech needs refinement before it's competitive with other top brands. I expect the fingerprint sensor and the new camera-only face unlock will be ready to roll on the 8 Series.

It's always a pleasure watching your video. The value and entertainment is alwats great. On the power button position, i think it should be a bit above the middle so if you mount your phone on a tripod, gimble , car holder etc you dont keep pushing the power button since the phone holder has to grip from the middle to balance the weight and avoid tilt or fall. I personally like the power and volumn buttons on one side.

Got it and love it. Got the Pixel 6 last year and it was a mixture of ok and nightmare due to several major bugs on day one. It also felt somewhat Pixelish but not very premium due to the bulky but heavy on the bezel design. Pixel 7 Pro Rocks. Feels premium, fast and fluid like nothing else, best cam especially if you have kids, no bugs, no pain. Love it.

My biggest interest is in the zoom improvements. Great video, Floss!

Great comprehensive review! What is the maximum fps for slowmo? And on speech-to-text, I tried to transcript some audiofiles (from conferences) from my old phone using Pixel 7 and the result was not pertect at all. Of course, the quality of the audio was not good but sometimes Pixel 7 was unable to do its job.

I love these Snyder Cuts. I work 12s and I have the night shift so these videos fill my downtime. I was waiting on this video too. I have the Z fold 4, Pixel 6 Pro, and 13 pro Max. I couldn’t get the 14 because they dropped the sim tray so I was thinking about trading my pixel in for this one. I’m sold.

This really helped with me upgrading from my OnePlus 9. Think I'll grab the S22 Ultra but the pixel 7 Pro seems great. Thanks for a great review.

Hey Floss!! I'm a little late to the party, but thanks for this video. I skipped both Pixels 6 and 7 because I wanted to be sure of what I was getting. I was still using my pixel 4 xl until I dropped it and got the light green screen. Instead of repairing it, I got the S22 ultra, and I love it. I had the S20 5g and also love that phone so much I got my partner the S20 plus. Both Samsungs are enough to satisfy me even though I realized yesterday that I can get the Pixel buds A series, a 7 pro, and a pixel watch for what I paid for my S22 ultra. (Everything is on sale right now) I'm still happy with what I have. Maybe if Pixel 8 offers something I like, I may purchase next year. Keep them reviews coming. I appreciate your honesty. I traded for the new one. Just cuz I was having small issues with it that effected my work. Luckily zero issues the 7 pro so far. Also agreed every new phone should come with a block and some accessories.

I thought I was the only one who thought the Pixel 6 Pro looked better then the 7 pro but looks like Floss feels the same way💪

I went from the 6pro to the 7pro and it's actually better in my experience. Highly improved fingerprint scanner, face unlock, better battery experience (so far), it's smoother and assistant is a tad more responsive, and the screen brightness in direct sunlight is much better. Camera is the same except for the extra gimmick like unblur and marcro. If you get a pixel, it's for the experience, the software and machine learning, call screening, direct my call and hold for me type stuff. All of these phones are spec'd out but not all of them are actually "smart" like the pixel is to a degree.

If I'm a first-time user or this is my first-ever phone...I would feel robbed not having the charger block in the box. That's essential to even use the phone. Now I got to find a computer or ask someone to use theirs or again GO BUY ONE since you didn't just put one in the box. Glad you always point that out.

All cellphones have strength and weaknesses people should find what works for them and be happy thank you Flossy helping me make informed decisions when I purchase my tech for so many years

Was actually going to get an Iphone 14, because I wanted a not to huge phone, and the pixel 7 got me, I am so happy with my White Pixel 7, Super smooth & all "transitioning from a Oneplus 7T tho"

I did upgrade from the 6 pro to the 7 pro and I notice a difference in the phone in general being smoother and better battery life and the phone not getting as hot as well. But I am in that percentage that needs to have the latest tech lol

I have the galactaus 22 ultra , but I must say that the Pixel phone has a lot of signature features, inside the software, tons of AI in the phone app, recodring app, etc, that you dont get in any other phone. they are far ahead of other phones in machine learning and AI features.

I think the average person should upgrade like every 4 years when the battery starts going bad if you bought a flagship... I say that because when you upgrade you want it to feel like an upgrade and getting a new phone every 2 years is not going to feel much different so you're never going to notice the improvement...
