Google Pixel 8 Pro vs Pixel 7 Pro - Are you going to update from pixel 7 pro to 8 pro?

- 1500 nits are just enough, I don't need a lighthouse in my smartphone's display - I like curved displays and I wouldn't say a flat display is something to prefer, it's just individual - You're gonna use a phone case like 90% of the time, who really cares about fingerprints on the back - Pixel 7 Pro camera is already a huge camera with smart features, you're not really gonna notice an update for that - 50 mAh battery difference? Really? - Benchmarks are not what you buy a Pixel for, and by the way Pixel 7 Pro can already do pretty much everything with the G2, even playing demanding games, Android 14 did the job to provide better heating management. - In Europe the Pixel 8 Pro is gonna cost 1099€, a 200€ increase over last year's 899€ for the 7 Pro. No, tbh it's not worth the upgrade.

Pixel 7 pro went from $899 to $699 a few months later. I’m gonna wait for the pixel 8 pro to do the same 😂

I currently use a pixel 6 series TBH it runs as smooth as silk, no overheating etc. I did think about the standard pixel 8, but disappointed that it doesn't come in matte finish! Google never quite gets the balance right . Also I'll wait for in depth reviews and user experience befire considering one

I'm just a way bigger fan of the larger form factor and the curved display. Ever since the s7 edge, the rounded displays just feel better in the hand.

The new features are just behind a software wall. Google have also undervalued their 7 pro for trade in deals. Seven years of OS on an Exynos chip? Nope, it won’t happen and newer features again will be behind a software wall. Bad form Google.

You lost me when you starting running benchmarks for pixel phones. Anyone who own one or thinks of owning one, knows pixel is all about smooth, lightweight os and its amazing AI features. You want to game, buy a dumb phone like Samsung or Apple.

Whats better Google Pixel 8 or Google Pixel 7 pro to buy and plan to use for next years, i dont really think i will usw the 7 years of Updates either surely will buy a new Phone after 3 years or later

I like the 7 pro more solely for the curved screen
