The display on the Pixel 6A and 7A is actually 6.17" so there's just 0.03" difference hence both the display on the Pixel 7A and 8 basically looks the same size.

Thanks. Suggestion: for a comparison/review I'd appreciate comments on characteristics like connectivity (wifi/bluetooth/LTE/5G connection robustness and speed), call quality (how natural does it sound, how do you sound to other people), time from taking camera out of pocket to first picture captured, etc - daily use issues.

Imho the only reason to buy the 8 over the 7a is the brighter screen outdoors faster charging thts it imho ,, the 7a is a great phone but let down by slow charge and unless its been fixed in Android 14 a poor stand idel time

8:17 Youre honestly going to say you think the pixel 7A is too expensive to buy brand new? Even if you buy it brand new. It's only 499. You're saying to pick up a used pixel 7 over a pixel 7A new.? Dude. You're crazy. Both the seven and the 7A have the exact same chip set inside. The Pixel 7a has newer sensors and a higher megapixel count than the pixel 7 cameras. The pixel 7A has a bigger battery. You just don't make any sense man

The pixel 7a is now half the price of the pixel 8. Just buy the 7a, then buy the 8 when that drops in a year or so, so your basically getting 2 phones for the price of one.

I’m thinking the 7a is a better deal they both have 8 GB of ram, same resolution display and I doubt anybody can really tell the difference between 90 Hz and 120 Hz. Everyone is complaining about the tensor, G3. I don’t think there’s too much of a difference between performance of these two phones, 7 years of software updates it’s great, but I’m probably gonna want something new after four years anyway.
