No SD, no waterproofing, huge bezels, no button, no headphones included, no wireless charge, no super oled screen and yet more expensive than a s7 or note 7 with all those things... google are really off the mark here. It's like a 150 dollar Chinese copy iPhone

I always wanted a phone that feels as premium as an iPhone but has Android as it's operating system. The pixel came in, I bought it, I love it. And trust me guys, it is way more better than an iPhone be it in terms of camera or the feel or the swiftness of operating it. everything is just brilliant. I got a very good deal in my country in exchange of my old Nexus 5, so the pricing for me was good too. Go for it !!!

if this phone had stereo front facing speakers it would be 9/10.

I think the design is gorgeous. I don't know why people don't like it. I would rather have bezels than block the screen with my hands most of the time when consuming media and playing games. While small bezels look prettier, but they are not very practical for a phone. If I ever switch to Android, I would get the Pixel XL. But there is a mighty "IF".

I love having a finger print scanner in the back! Especially when your phone is mounted on the dashboard in your car, and you're driving, and you have to unmount it to use the scanner….I LOVE IT!

2 textures on the back make a lot of sense, so you can tell when you take it out of your pocket which orientation its at as you pull it out.

My quick impressions: - the two-tone glass/metal should be swapped to take advantage of wireless charging. - the bezels are way too big for on screen nav keys and rear fingerprint - the camera looks great - the pixel launcher means nothing to me. Download Nova Prime and customize everything. You could literally set up everything seen here. - If I'm going to pay top dollar, I want waterproof, expandable storage, dual speakers, or any other unique features that other OEMs are putting out. This phone has none of that. Therefore, I can't see dropping $600-$700 just to have a G on the back.

-no microsd card expansion even after Android Marshmallow "Adoptive Storage", nor dual sim -no wireless charging (but apparently 7 hours charge in 15 minutes) -no water proofing -no dual/steroe speakers -asking price of $650 for lesser version But hey, at least it has a headphone jack and doesn't blow up, cuz that's a bonus these days. Can't say that I'm that excited for this phone. Yes, I do need a new phone, but not THAT badly.

The design is ugly. Too much Bazel left on the front, I don't even want to take about the back, just terrible.

My main gripe is the chin. Wasted opportunity for stereo front facing speakers.

Ordered Google pixel last week. Really excited for the built-in Google assistant, ios like design(must admit) but my preferred OS inside :P I am also excited for the 128 gb device storage and unlimited cloud storage. Overall, I am a Google technology lover so hopefully I will love the phone.

For Google's FIRST independently manufactured phone, I'm gonna say it's not a terrible effort. It's enough to compete against some of the top tier phones in the market. I mean hell, I'm seeing people comment about switching from Apple & giving this phone a try. It's a pretty solid foundation that Google has set up for itself with this phone. Hopefully as they progress they'll start to make a name for themselves in the smartphone market. Best of luck Google!

Was such a good phone when I used it. It was my favorite phone. Even after going to the LG G6 I missed a lot about it. Now I have the note 9 and the only thing I miss is the stock Android. Note 9 is new favorite

Please talk about whether the pixel/xl is worth upgrading to from the 6p. Like most people, I was hesitant about the 6p because of its size but it was the only premium nexus there was. How does the pixel battery life compare to the 6p? Is the footprint of the XL smaller/more comfortable than the 6p? 6p was so big that having a case is almost impossible.
