I like how this is a very casual durability test, some people do durability test and treat the products really harshly as if it will happen like that on a daily basis. Really glad you did it this way🙂

Pixel cons: Cloth earpiece covering, can't handle open flames, easily scratched rear glass and especially fingerprint scanner. Pixel pros: Literally everything else is good.

Additional cons: it's only ip53, no wireless charging, uneven thickness, no double tap or rise to wake, no OIS, not that great screen-to-body ratio, only has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 (the Note 7 had 5), no expandable storage/removable battery (these are deal breakers to some, and most high-end phones don’t have these today, except for the v20), lackluster color options. Adding to this, the Pixel isn't even available in a lot of countries. Not hating on the phone, this is just nitpicking on an amazing product.

Hugh Mungus The Note 7 at leasthas waterproofing compared to the pixel and it has an S Pen but I think the next S8 Edge (or maybe even S8 Pro) will come with an S Pen and a 5.7 inch screen.

IPhone 4 had glass back. It's a completely different design. You only need these on a aluminum unibody. The iPhone 4 might have had antenna lines, but they were not used as a pronounced design element like it was premiered in the HTC One m7. A lot of manufacturers have borrowed this design from HTC afterwards with the iPhone 6 being the most well known example.

Well the Nokia 3310 had antenna lines way before. The thing is its uses as a design element. Apple could have put a zigzag antenna lines or circles, but they chose to copy the design from HTC.

I'm pretty sure they did this because they purposely wanted to resemble the iPhone as closely as possible. Not because they're not original, but I feel this is google way of taunting iPhone users to come to Android. People who don't really understand tech too well would switch because of the aesthetic similarity alone.

Samsung S7 AMOLED and this Google Pixel AMOLED left permanent white spots. Only AMOLED one I recall recovering from flame is OnePlus 3.

thormaster06 probably because the glass was thicker, so oleds didn't receive "too much" heat. leds and oleds are way more sensitive than lcds to temperature because of the technology. so, over a certain temperature, you say goodbye to that pixel

It is also why AMOLED screens turn yellowish over a year of continues usage. You'll notice it with whites. My friend's S5, not even a year old, is already having yellowish whites
