I had a little play around with the Pixel Watch yesterday and have a few concerns to share even though I'm looking forward to getting mine.

I think the best designed 'fitbit' style watches are the Garmin - you get less features but you have like 2 weeks usage unless you're using the GPS all the time. I've had my Fenix 5x for about 5 years now and I just love the thing.

If I had a use for this I would keep it. I have one brand new in a box lol tbf it's a lot smoother than the GW4 but I wouldn't get any benefit I don't think. Maybe I keep it...

Think I'd only get one if I end up pre-ordering the 7 pro as it's a freebie in the UK

I'm excited for the pixel watch 🤗🤗 yes Fitbit battery is good as well as samsug

@@GroundedTech I think it could yes I actually don't mind charging it up every night, yes I would like more than one day charge but that's not a deal breaker

I'm not too excited for the Pixel Watch, but I'm not the "smartwatch" type. I'll definitely check it out though!

You know what I'm not the smartwatch type either, unless I just haven't found the right one yet? We'll see how this goes. Should be a fun experience.

Main issue is that here in the UK, the Pixel watch is £339, whereas the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is £289 (for the versions that have to connect to your phone). Is it worth the difference?

(In the US, it's $279 versus $349, an even-bigger difference)

We'll have to see. I think the feature set is better and from my hands on it feels more performant than the Watch 4 I have. Think the Watch 5 series runs the same hardware.
