Gonna be tricky for some sites that's for sure. For example legal services sites that get traffic by writing blog posts on law .I've come across loads of them. Solicitors sites which write blog posts on individual mattera of law.Sites which gain traffic by building authority thru writing loads of how to , what is krap. Eg... what is the right to silence? Etc etc. For commercial searches however, shouldn't be so much of a problem.

You'll get the answers they eant you to have. They'll wrie and rewrite the history. This could be an opportunity for other search engnes nd it could be the goog's downall

Google and every other search engine already decides what you see and what you don't see. This hasn't changed that.

@@terrygorry Let's agree to disagree Terry. It has changed and the impact might not be as strong in some niches as it was before but I am still seeing a positive effect with every piece of solid content that we publish, most of them rank fairly quickly and lead to more impressions, clicks and visits to the site. So yes the SGE part will reduce the number of clicks to some sites but the SGE part also mentions recommended sites - so in the end it comes down to getting into those recommendations and then it might be a winner takes it all - meaning these 3 sites that are recommended get the biggest piece of the pie. But as long as I see optimized content driving more visitors to my sites or my clients' sites and as long as I see people making lots of money with SEO affiliate websites I think it is wrong to declare SEO dead.

@@DanielNeubauer Google's Gemini AI has not been rolled out yet in Europe. But it has been devastating in the United States where it was put into effect. Yes, we can disagree ok.👍 But you should probably reserve judgment until it is rolled out in Europe. Which is as certain as day following night.

@@terrygorry Of course we have to wait and see. But I am in contact with many SEOs from the States and many have not had a massive impact - once I see that happening and once I see it with my own impression, clicks and number of visitors (once it is rolled out here in Europe) I might agree. But even then I think it is good to work on your SEO and Content marketing because the AI needs new data and where does it get this data from - the web. But let's chat in 6-12 months again Terry. Then we might have more data. Until then good luck and have a good time.

I get that people might get the answer - but that's kind of going to feed people back to local media - which might not be a bad thing to be fair .... maybe they all have pushed themselves so far round in a cycle that they are now really not feeding the people they have relied on. We need to grab our businesses back from these companies who don't care about them - or any individual.
