99% of the time for me, the AI just dodges the question and instead answers a facet of the question. If I ask what temperature I should cook spaghetti, it instead just explains what spaghetti is and the entire history of spaghetti. Me: “What is the IC chip designation for an XNOR gate?” Google’s 4th highest result: “It’s gonna be the CD4077 CMOS chip, you’re welcome bro.” Google AI: “LET ME NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION AND INSTEAD TELL YOU (incorrectly) WHAT AN XNOR GATE IS!”

I can’t search art references in Image Search anymore because the results are almost EXCLUSIVELY AI!!!

The best (technically worst) I saw was somebody search "I'm feeling depressed" and the AI response was "There are many things you can try to deal with your depression. One Reddit user suggests jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge." I love how clear they've made it that it's just scraping the most popular results and forcing an AI to cram it together into a semi-coherent summery.

Real bro, I was looking up what the bios key for my surface laptop is, and the AI kept EXCLUSIVELY giving me results for a completely different line of surface devices that have different buttons, instead of just saying "oh yeah its F6". Its not just idiots who Google stuff, kids do, and not all kids are taught very common knowledge. I know I was left to make my own food a lot growing up and for the gasoline one I thought of something I would've done as a child. I was pretty dense socially due to my Asperger's but I'd at least try to understand what someone meant. "Now we're cooking with gas" is a phrase I'd look up "can you cook with gasoline" because my little dumb head didn't know it was all different till my mid teens and like I said I often cooked for myself as child. Google could get a lot of children at least killed with this AI.
