it's remarkable how much this goose looks like a goose. video games have never quite managed to sell animals. the latest assassin's creed game had like five hundred artists working on it, yet the animals still look extremely video gamesy. but this goose looks like someone applied a filter to actual footage of an actual goose. for a brief moment, i became the goose. i saw the world through the eyes of a goose. and that, surely, is the highest calling of any artist.

I'm always super curious about how the ending bit gets chosen. It's a ton of fun to try and guess what small boyo will be chosen for it, or which moment in the video it will be. Doe Josh pick it and tell Tom during the editing process? Does Tom pick a random bit from memory and record a line for it? What happens when there are too many good bits to choose from? :O I love the ending for each of Tom's videos, it's like a happy little cherry on top of the ice cream. Or I guess at the bottom of the bowl in this case. Idk. I love it though.
