Press ignition is same as turning the key in your car to on position. Starter is the same as turning the key to turn the engine over. Gotta have it in neutral or holding in clutch

I feel like some type of anti lag or 2 step would be a cool little option if it’s made to actually work with helping to build boost imo

Car ignition is a basic feature of a car Since y'all learned driving from sim rigs, the Devs made sure you go one step closer to realism. So basically they wanted to let you know that you can't drift a car if you can't even start it's engine first.

1- 2 step that actually has a bang. Not little chip bag pops. 2- more in detail small things. Like stretched tires and thick for drag. Exhaust(choose blast pipe lengths) 3-interchangeable parts! Some wings/exhaust are on cars I don’t like but I would love them on the cars I use the most. Idk we just need more and more diversity. I want no one to have the same mods as me. I want to be unique. 4- engine swaps and better engine sounds. 5-better tuning. Some RX7’s irl can go to like 10k rpm. The one in car x doesn’t and it’s a game. They should add like an expert tune to where you can mess with fueling and air intake just so it adds more to have fun and mess around with. Like if you add hella fuel when you let off the gas just an excessive amounts of fire. Idk just more and more small detail would be fire. Makes it more enjoyable and adds so much more to do

I would like to add an option to buy more cars of the same model to have several different designs. This would help to avoid having to remove the design from the car itself.

the r32 from fr legands is inspired by a irl drift team known as abo-moon Abo” is taken from the younger brother’s name Akinobu, and “Moon” is from “Sailor Moon” which was very popular animated cartoon in Japan at the time.

Instead of making an on/off engine button they should make a drone cam

firstly i would love to see neons and stuff that you have on pc, for consoles also. that’ll be awesome. and maybe an ability to chat with players in game. some interesting single player races with opponents maybe? it gets a bit boring after trying to grind out gold for each track and with each car

In the Xds competition there should be a spectate mode to watch the battles still going on if you have a bye run or finish quick

New Body kits Working mirrors in first person Engine swaps or better sounding engines More cars like xr6’s, and commy’s like senators or HQ’s etc Could possibly add a barra to the game aswell

Most sims have ignition and starter assignments, I'm glad they joined the game on this. Now if you stall your car you're either going to have to bump start it or use the starter to get back going. Just wish they'd add some decent damage physics. I don't get why more sims get on the more realistic damage bandwagon. Sure it's more for them to do but a lot of the major titles have been out for years now.

-track editor -gs300 -targa tops (Supra-nsx etc.) -Honda s2k (mind blown this isn’t already there) -carbon fiber parts/panels instead of custom making carbon -livery share -the ability to sell or trade in cars so you don’t have to keep something you didn’t really want -possible pink slip events against other players would be cool but I’m reaching now -more interior customization options -damage system similar to FR legends There is always room for improvement but I enjoy the game as is .

it works like an actual car now (i think), so you have to hold the clutch, and then press the ignition and starter

The frame dropping is even worse on console. I've had CarX on my PS4 for over a year now and every time I've joined a server I suffer constant frame drops and stuttering throughout gameplay. I've learned to live with it, but it's still a serious problem. CarX needs to get on it ASAP.

What I think CarX should have done is that when you haven't bound the ignition and starter to any buttons, the car starts automatically, and if you bind them to any buttons the manual starting activates

Add something like injection tuning that changes some horsepower and change if the cars just pops or if it send shots from the exausth , like a way to configure if you want just pops or rlly badass shots That injection ideia can also be used to configure the fire that comes out of the exausht , Sry for my english , im portuguese and its hard for me xD

2:45 .. I started the game yesterday, and this is exactly what happened to me, absolute nightmare restarting the game several times, believing my wheel setup was bugging out.. Once you get used to it it's quite fun. USB ignition could be something lol.

I hope to see like a library of livery’s for cars like in forza horizon

Goosiest you can now drift in f1 22 and it’s actually fun and the physics are pretty decent! You should try it for a vid. The game cost 70 euros tho so it’s expensive but yeah you can make the money back with the video😁 (its still f1 game so you don’t got that many cars and tracks and modifications like liverys and stuff but its fun to try ;)

I think they added like a proper manual clutch so you have to hold the clutch to start your car now

On controller I removed the camera use and replaced up and down on the right stick as a shifter. So I slap the stick to shift and you could map the starter and stuff to right or left.

I like to call the long exhausts "extended mags" lol

Here a tip,hold the clutch while starting the engine in 1-6 gear so the car didnt move foward.
