If the hang up about the early roll call is to get on Ohio's ballot, then it's not important. Trump already has Ohio. We need a strong candidate for states that can actually be won. So they should wait, because any Dem but Biden has a better chance of winning the election. I'm a life-long Dem, and I've been voting for, campaigning for, and donating to Dems since the 1980s, and we need a new nominee. My 82 year old mother is more functional than Biden. President Biden is staying as the candidate just out of pure ego and selfishness. He made it clear in his ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos that he's fine with Trump winning as long as he (Biden) feels he did his "goodest" because to him "that's what this is all about." That's appalling!!! A lot of us are in danger from Project 2025, and he doesn't care. We can't have a nominee who is only sporadically somewhat competent, but a total mess the rest of the time. He's losing swing states, and polling is showing even states that normally lean Blue are shifting to leaning Red. In his Lester Holt interview, he falsely claimed that no one talked about Trump's lies in the debate, and then lied when Holt corrected him. Honestly, the way Biden behaves is rather Trumpian. That is not helpful. Yes, Trump lies, but that doesn't magically make Biden's ongoing mental issues okay if we want to beat Trump. If Dems leadership cares at all about saving democracy, they will find a way... any way to boot Biden off the ticket.

I think JD is going to be good because he keeps the focus on the working classs
