Thanks for trying different camera angles. I prefer this point of view as there is a lot more going on. You can see the waste get packed better and see what is going on inside the box after the waste has been compacted. I also love the end clip of the truck being unloaded. We don't often see this on other channels. What is the view like if the camera is set up more into the right hand corner (from POV of this video) and angled a little more to the left so we can maybe see a bit more of the bin being unloaded and maybe a bit more of the streetscape as you drive around? There seems to be a lot of "dead space" caused by the truck wall on the right hand side where not a lot of action goes on and maybe a little more of an angle might fill the frame a bit more? Some people may prefer this "squire on" point of view like you have it, but with the camera mounted lower down towards the compactor with the camera angle a smidge higher but I guess there is a bigger risk of the camera becoming damaged or lost if something hits it. --- How do you have your camera mounted? I customised my "bull-dog clip" camera mount and added super strong magnets to it so I can have the best of both worlds for almost every situation, but I am still yet to find a driver who will let me attach my camera to their vehicle; maybe I should become a driver and do it myself 😛 Are you able to watch/check on your camera while you drive around to ensure it is still attached to the vehicle without getting out of the truck every time? Would be a shame to lose it. Sorry for waffling on, but love your videos, keep up the great work!

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it. I think visually I like the “square on” visuals more. I’ve seen other channels do what you’ve recommended as far as camera placement. I think visually I like the “square on”visuals more. And you’re right, any lower and my camera is going to be damaged or lost in the garbage. I use a snap on go pro attachment. It’s usually just me crossing my fingers and hoping if my camera is still attached 😆.

@@NeighborhoodGarbageman I've attached a makeshift "safety chain" to my camera for peace of mind. It's nothing fancy, just an old shoelace and a carabiner to hook onto something. It does the job.
