Use a backbone sidekick to mount the Hero 5/6 to a tripod without having to use the proprietary GoPro case and adapter. Opens up the camera to a lot more possibilities and keeps it small and compact.

so just discovered your page and got my upgrade to 3+ to 6Black yesterday. Due to your videos i can catch up quite quick on the abilities of the hero 6.

Top tip, if you don't want to remove the charging port door, you can use a Kupton Frame which has a hole big enough to open the door when you want without removing from the frame.

Hi Bro, great tips. I have couple questions regards editing GoPro 4K 60fps. When i film it and download the files to my computer its all slow motion. Is it always like that or something is wrong with my settings or GoPro or laptop? Because when i check your videos its all nice and fast? Do yu just edit the video speed later or what settings should i use to get it right from the start? Any advise?

I was and I am disappointed with GoPro because the image stabilization moves everywhere and the image shakes and I thought that you need to upload some program to do image stabilization and so after 4 years I stopped recording on gopro and used Canon camera but ... use your advice and settings and we'll see if that helps because I never set anything like this. I am going to purchase one, I need to know will the housing help me with the waterproof as mentioned, as here in the Maldives we have sea ,sea and lots of it, more like all around us, so it's a very important thing for me to know. I used a gopro 4 with the outer housing and it heats up so much in the case, and shutdowns on me. Hence looking for something without an putter cover. Very nice videos keep up. I 100% have auto rotation turned ON while filming, but when I transfer my files from the camera to the PC they stay upside down! Any advice? Is there something else I should be doing - change recording settings, etc? It's driving me mental... what's more annoying is it's not all the time - half my videos are fine and the other half remain upside down... Any advice welcome as the online forums/blogs i've so far come across are pants.

When you shoot at 240 fps, download it to your computer, how do you get it to playback at 30 fps, slow motion? When I shoot at 240 fps and play it back on my computer, it plays at 240 fps, normal speed. What am I doing wrong?

Auto rotate on my 6 doesn't always work. It's mounted on a chesty but randomly chooses when to auto rotate. Any ideas on a solution?

I have a question about resolution setting. I have a Canon G7X that I record in 1080P @29.97fps. I also have the GoProHero 6 and record at 2.7K @30fps. When I'm editing my video on PremierePro my timeline I make sure I first put a clip that has 1080P @ 29.97 first. Would the rending process downgrade the 2.7K to 1080p or do I need to do something to those clips?

I use my 6 on a chest mount with auto rotate on but it randomly films some videos upside down. Any clues as to how to cure this? I have seen many others with the same issue but no resolutions. I know I can rotate in an editing suite but this is no good if I want to put it straight on my phone for Instagram.
