Extreme lowlight comparison between the current leaders in the actioncamera market.
Insta360 ONE R clearly overperforms GoPro HERO9 in lowlight situations, capturing much more information and less noise thanks to a bigger image sensor 1" for ONE R vs 1/2.3" for HERO9.

1 inch sensor is always the better. No matter how the go pro is keep on releasing new items with no so extra difference from the previous series.

It has a much larger 1 inch sensor. The Gopro still has a 1/2.3 sensor.

Its natural with gopro 9 and insta360 has that smoothing filter which steal the naturalistic

GoPro 9 sucks, bought all the GoPro’s starting from Session up to Fusion. Just recently purchased Insta360 One R with all the mods, including 1-Inch Mod by Leica, my whole world changed regarding shooting action footage.

Yea, I definitely like my 1-inch. it's just unbeatable!👍 I actually don't see much innovation in GoPro 9 this time. A bit disappointing.

If you don't care about close focus (like hands, handle bars, surfboard tip, vlogging, etc.) then the Insta360 1-inch does what physics says it should.

Not really concerned about light that low with action cameras. You are comparing a 1inch sensor to a 1 2/3 sensor. Compare that 1 inch sensor to the Sony rx0ii.

I don’t use action cameras in the dark. Plus you’re comparing a $350 camera to a $600 camera.

Nice comparison. Mine is just an extreme lowlight one though, can do others when I have some free time. The one you shared it's a bit biased, he puts ONE R and Action on the handlebar (super shaky part) and GoPros on the chest (much more stable), the stabilization difference will be obvious. Anyway, HERO9 stabilization in daylight is excellent, but has lots of flaws I don't like

@@AlexInde Absolutely agree about the mounting. I only noticed that after commenting. What's telling though is how mucky the Insta360 and Osmo look though.
