It was also amazing reviewing the underwater GoPro footage of the crabs traps. Who knew there was that much activity going on down there! It's a good thing we did not have fresh fish in the crab trap or that seal would have torn it up!

When you go crabbing again take that water butter from all the crabs and use it to make rice. Its amazing. I use it with land crabs.

The “crab butter” can sometimes be toxic and shouldn’t be consumed so always check with fish and game to make sure it’s safe in your area

I think it's just not good to eat it very often, but they should be fine if they just eat it occasionally. I have heard that about the lobster Tomalley too, but I can't help myself because it just tastes SOOOOO good.

I literally just finished eating and i'm still salavating. I used to live in OR and when we were kids we used to go to Newport and crab there. I eat anything that comes from the ocean. Great Vid.

That crab butter inside of the shell is a mixture of the brains and stuff and you can also do that with lobster to this was an amazing video hope to see more from you guys doing crap like that and also lobster with a lobster butter that is already built into the lobster thanks for the video love it can't wait to see more.

NOTE: Water stored in the shell ("shell water") helps to keep the crab moist. It may contain feces, but does not contain urine. Hermit crab urine is eliminated via glands at the base of the antennae, near the eyes. acording to google

"You could almost drink it!" When I went crabbing for the first time in Washington, my family says it is a tradition to drink the "Brain Juice" of the first crab. Sounds gross but it really does taste so good.
