there was a pelican in Florida that has 1 leg and everybody in the town knew him as Stumpy he lost his leg from a fishing line tangle and people saved him sadly he died a few years ago he was very friendly

I have seen 1000s of videos online. This HAS to be my favorite clip of ALL TIME! It almost brings me to tears seeing a man and his bird have this kind of bond. Its almost surreal, to good to be true. I am so envious of him! I would give ANYTHING to pet a pelican. :)

I used to watch pelicans fishing out on my grandma's riverfront for hours. They were so beautiful, and would dive in one after another as a team to grab fish in the water
