I find it funny Alastor knows he can't exert dominance over Lucifer through strength, so he tries to do so emotionally by both poking at his estranged relationship with hes beloved daughter and by also denoting his closeness to her.

Surprisingly, Lucifier's VA (Jeremy Jordan) said that he was inspired by Robin Williams in his role of the Genie. It really shows too.

@@mollusckscramp4124 Lucifer wasn't a dead beat dad. He was fairly active in Charlie's life until Lilith left 7 years ago. Since then he's been dealing with depression.

Since Alastor is not afraid of Lucifer, this means that Lucifer is not the source of Alastor's power, but rather something beyond imagination

He sure did feel threatened by him if he did whatever he could to get under his skin, his pride got wounded when Lucifer wasn't impressed by the looks of the hotel nor the name and he didn't even knew who he was, and we all know Alastor hates being dissed in any kind of way, so he went out of his way to piss him off, only it's Lucifer, he's not gonna take shit from demons whatsoever so unlike his duel with Vox Alastor here got some slapstick courtesy of Lucifer not appreciating him getting in his way. The most he can do is just annoy him, but he is completely outclassed in sheer power given it's implied he got his powers from his deal he made to currently whoever holds his soul while Lucifer is doing everything by his own power alone by virtue of being a fallen angel, and most likely a fallen seraph, so he has the authority to do whatever he wants whenever he wants and I'm pretty sure the only reason Alastor still lives at the end is because Lucifer didn't want to upset Charlie by killing him, even if he did annoy him to no end, but he gave back as good as he got.

The original intent was to have charlie be like 200 years old or somethin, but based on the context clues we've been getting in the show, she might actually be pretty young, like 20 or something. Her most recent good memories of her dad are when she was a toddler, her mother disappeared 7 years ago, and shortly before that, she and luci split. She and luci split when charlie was a toddler. Also her general nativity and youngness. Plus now we have a lot of characters that are acting way older than her, now potentially actually being way older than her. Makes a lot of sense.

@@CorwinTheOneAndOnly I don't think Lucifer and Lilith split when Charlie was a toddler cause we have pictures of them when Charlie is older and given Charlie is basically immortal and was already acting naively and young in the pilot where she was already well over 200 years old and given Lucifer's personality despite being older than Hell itself there's really no way to say how old Charlie is but she can be probably older than everyone else at the hotel combined together but still acting young because that's her character, being young and nice and optimistic, plus the fact that only her parents outclasses her means she can pretty much do anything she wants and acts how she wants without being threatened much so given she probably doesn't age much anymore given her immortality most likely her being old doesn't mean she needs to act like she's old, age is relative, not everyone acts their age, and given they're all pretty much immortal in the show thanks to being in hell acting mature is based on whatever they feel at the moment I would say.
