Gorakh Dhanda Ho is a extremely complex poem. It is considered hard to decipher and translate. It is the search for God, leaves the poet puzzled. It was actually first created by Naz Khialvi (1947 - 12 December 2010) was a Pakistani lyricist and radio broadcaster, who is mainly known for his Sufi verse Tum Ek Gorakh Dhanda Ho.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan first rendered music on it.

Those lines are filled with 'talmeehat'' an urdu word in adb meaning things with historical background. All the lines he said are related to history e.g Anal Haque and Mansoor (jisko kaha sooli pe charha dety ho) u can google him his name was Mansoor al halaj similarly all of them have some background with Islam

Whole Qawali is brilliant but From 11.40 onwrds is the real magic...thr is so much history in the lyrics for the ones who can understand this song(Qawali) thorughly..this is truely a masterpiece recreated by Xulfi..Thank you so much sir for reacting to this..!! Sharoon is associated with Nescafe basement since first season. His true mastery with the voilin emerges in some of the Rock productions of Nescafe basement. If you like these kind of songs then do give a shot at 'Talaash' 'Larger than Life' & 'Sweet Child O Mine'. All of these a wonderful and mesmerising.

Really hard to keep a listner with them for almost 13mins.... amazing piece if its kind turing a qawali into this waooo.... 2ndly its totally on pure urdu and islamic lyrics so maximum 90% indian would understand it properly but still they are enjoying it just because of the music thats the big thing in my opinion.

Thankyou so much for this reaction dev, How do you have such a vast knowlegde of Islam and sufism? The lyrics were referencing to many of Islamic miracles and events but you seemed to understand them? please inform us in the next video how do you know so much about islam and sufism? Please react on SUB MAYA HAI from coke studio season 10 AND DASTAAN E ISHQ by ali zafar from coke studio season 2, again a sufi song and its lyrics are so deep and powerful that Ali zafar himself broke down while recording it and coke studio has to release the rehearsal version of it, Please please do react on that one too, it is not that long in duration actually, Much love and respect from Pakistan :)
