Thank you so much for posting this concert in proper sequence (or what appears to be as such) as it's very much appreciated. Gordon Lightfoot and his music will remain for the full life of his fans, the old and the new. Thank you Gordon for the music you gave to us. Go gently my friend, ... I too will see you soon.

Adore this guy - used to listen to and play his stuff in the off-times when I was working with Dallas Harms. His writing and his songs just never get old. Witness both Tony Rice's and Alison Krauss' version of "Shadows." Just a brilliant piece of music. Love that he's CANADIAN - and never felt the need to move to Los Angeles or Bakersfield or Nashville. He's been Canadian right from the start - our very own National Living Treasure.

Rice desperately tried to be Lightfoot. He dressed exactly like him. Wore his hair like him etc etc.

Tony Rice did an entire album of Lightfoot songs. And Alison Krauss has said that it was that album that started her on her own musical journey.

a great song, which was remade by a famous Czech folk singer František Nedvěd - a song called "It just needs some time"... :-)
