he's spent a huge chunk of his life trying to look after his brother whos into all sorts of drugs, including getting caught with 100g of heroin. And I think he's given up on him after decades of trying. I highly doubt he's gonna be into casual drug use. Smackhead is such a dehumanizing term. And people with addictions don’t have a weak contrition. They have a neurological disorder. Why do you think a certain sub-sect of thr population is unable to stop sometimes their entire lives (but under proper programs can be functional people with an addiction if given proper tools), but the incredibly vast majority of the population can drink and do drugs casually ? I’ve worked with people with addictions and study the neurology behind addictions as well as a major in biochemistry. It’s so misunderstood. I lost too many friends not to contribute I hope something in my lifetime to helping these people. They aren’t addicts, crack heads smack heads , drunks, they’re just humans with an addiction and they deserve to be treated with the same respect you hopefully give your family & friends.
