Even if you're exceptionally good at your job it'll never fully be appreciated since they can pay someone half as good the same wage and it doesn't really make any difference. If it wasn't like this and customer service people got paid a fair wage for harder work then everyone would be a lot nicer and managers would 100% scout talent and try to get them to work for them.
