You might have missed the part where he said "a lot of this stuff you should have in your cupboard". One trip to the store and you can have ingredients for multiple meals. This recipe for example, dry pasta dry parsley, chilli, and some kind of meat isn't all that unusual to already have on hand. Unless i have a very specific recipe I want to try, its rare for me to run to the store for ingredients before I cook.

Yeah if you want to do a super authentic fresh meal then you need to shop before hand but honestly who is doing all of that on a regular basis . Yeah. I like what he even had said. If you can't cook, just learn to cook 3-5 things and then learn to cook variations of those same 3-5 things, before you know it you'll know quite a few variations to cook from on your own. But people will just be lazy still.
