Thanks for the comment Eugene. Good luck with the move to CPT, I am sure you will be pleased with your decision. I moved to CPT in 1996 and never regret it. The colour of the water is affected by various factors. One being the amount of sand being in suspension due to currents. Storms, tides, temperature change and currents could cause the visibility in the water to change and ultimately affect the perceived water colour. The amount of sunlight also plays a role. Cloudy days also looks different. I suppose that is why we are so intrigued by the ocean, it changes continuously. Welcome to Cape Town!
