On the website for the device it has a video with hospital and they go by anything below like 100 is a pass and anything 200 and above is a fail with anything in-between being a caution. this hotel still failed horribly, but Gordon is over exaggerating with that "anything over 30 is dangerous" stuff

@@Slohan2580 Gordon's kichens are probaly that clean, also hospitals don't need to be as clean as a profesional kitchen, the rooms and beds and operating rooms do ofcourse but not the regular hallways where people walk all the time. Instead of keeping it extremely clean with no bacteria they clean multiple times a day to prevent bacteria from multiplying.

For any avid science people out there, this meter doesnt measure CFU (colony forming units), it measures RLU (relative light units). It uses bioluminescence; basically the liquid in the swab lights up the more ATP there is (the meter then measures the light). So it doesnt just measure the presence of bacteria, it measures the presence of every living organism

When you think that this Values would be found in your room, you have a problem. I'm a bit disorderly myself, but I'm not dirty. Big difference. It's ok when your stuff is lying around all over the room as long as you're not expecting guests and as long as you can bring order into it in an hour or so when you are awaiting guests. But if it's not your stuff like books, Jackets or a chessboard, but waste and dirt that is lying around, then clean the hell up! Even though right now it looks like after an earthquake, I'm quite sure you won't find any values significantly over 20 in here.
