I started studying acupuncture in 2020 at the height of “is there any point in doing anything?” it did take me a bit longer than planned but I completed all my clinical time ( over 400 treatments) and got the final sign off on Dec 21 solstice. Super happy I dared to dream at the age of 52 as now I have skills to barter as we head into very uncertain times. I always believed in acupuncture but I have witnessed acts of healing that even boggle my mind. Peace

Austin, as usual great job succinctly breaking down what we're all seeing in the first half of 2024. It looks like quite a year in total, with a lot of very weird power dynamics and major shifts. Mid Feb looks particularly intense with a triple conjunction (Venus/Mars/Pluto) that we haven't seen in 250 yrs 👀. Then again Venus and Pluto meet with a standoff to Mars Rx in Leo at the end of 2024. What a math spectacle this upcoming year truly is 👀WOW.

We need to understand that Mars isn't just about Yang war energy. In even numbered signs, Mars is so-called feminine and has a behavior like the mother protecting her young. i had to come back and comment based on memory from when I watched this video at the beginning of the year, but this is about going into Q2. I believe we were warned to try to get ahead in March because in April there will be setbacks... I'm going to tell you. I was on a creative climb attempting to expotentially grow and right at the end of March and the first of April Boom I got so sick I am still so sick that is why I am having to go off of memory of the podcast but I went to the doctor its is Flu2.

I also used to enjoy Austin on the astrology chanel and after a year or so not thinking of him his name popped back into my awareness within the last few days. I didnt search for anything on him or say it out aloud.. but this just popped up in my youtube feed this morning...perfect timing as was feeling very lost and the usual things I watch for the coming year didnt have the depth I like. I live in NYC and while the opioid crisis did not show up in my vicinity, speaking of the downside of Neptune in Pisces -- the legalization of weed has made whole streets All Weed All The Time... It just turns the volume up on the societal decay and is depressing AF. I say this as a Pisces New Moon baby. That really clicked in over the last year, come to think of it, so dope as a commercial enterprise may relate to Saturn's ingress.

A bit on the nose but the US and Isreal have both announced that they have made fully autonomous ai controlled attack drones that can choose their target and carry out the assassination of that target entirely without humans. Also related and on the nose is the ai generated propaganda images that Isreal has been faking to show an idea of luxery for the leaders of hamas (which you quite frankly can barely make out through the funky AI faces).

Has anyone asked themselves: how did WWII turn into the Cold War? (Rhetorical question). We tend to look at it as the 'allies' vs the 'axis' (Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and imperial Japan), but the world was already awash with right-wing muscles as well as massive pushes to move capitalism up a notch... either way, the real 'people' were in dire straits... The Capitalism Vs Communism dyichotomy became an easy red-herring peg to distract from the fact that the necessary move towards a focus on "the People" (Aquarius - I'm wary of the technological focus on Aquarius distracting away from the community/individualities aspect of Acquarius, which I personally think is the most important) - during WWII the (Western) world seemed focused against Fascist Aggressive Imperialism, but the reality of the collapse of the Monarchical Model (still elitist in the FEUDAL sense) morphed because the same ABUSE of the people continued under the guise of so-called communist tyranny as well as of the neo-liberal seduction of mass markets (the film industry has a lot to answer for on this front) into a similar type of slavery... A lot needs to be re-thought...

I've always felt that there was some strange truth to the idea that 2012 was some kind of "end of the world" point... it wasn't the literal end of the world, but it has felt like something changed for the worse since then, and the world has been a weird kind of messed up ever since... I personally feel like the low-point came around 2019/2020, and has kinda gotten better since then, but we're still very messed up and haven't recovered yet. 2023 has felt like maybe the last year of this weird dark period. I usually attribute and/or correlate this with Trump, but now that I think about it... it also correlates with Disney-owned Lucasfilm content. I've always felt like 2015 was the last kinda "good" normal year before everything got really weird and bad in 2016, even though things had been off since 2012. 2015 is the year a lot of people now kinda look back at as being the last "normal" year before it all went south... and if we look at The Force Awakens, it was met well initially. Huge box office, people kinda felt like "Star Wars is back!" after the prequels had disappointed, etc. It was kinda the last time the zeitgeist actually majority celebrated Star Wars in a big way. Then The Last Jedi went into production in early 2016 and the world started heading noticeably downward. By the time it came out in 2017... CHAOS! Rogue One had pleased some, but not all... but The Last Jedi was met with stark and fervent division between hatred and praise, depending on which side you were on. Much like the larger political scene playing out in society at the time. Then... Rise of Skywalker. 2019. Nobody's happy. Everybody's bitter and just disillusioned by this point. But hey... there's some hope... The Mandalorian! It's good! And Boba Fett is coming! Ahsoka! Oh, maybe the pandemic will unite us, and Trump lost the election! Maybe things are good again! Nope. Turns out Mandalorian will go downhill pretty quick by season 3, Boba Fett will suck, Ahsoka will be boring... the pandemic will just further divide us and Trump losing the election will lead to an insurrection that we'll be struggling to get accountability for to this day. Oh, and he might still become President again! And Russia will invade Ukraine! And Israel and Palestine will pop off again worse than ever! And INDIANA JONES IS GONNA TIME TRAVEL BACK TO MEET ARCHIMEDES FOR SOME REASON!!! As I thought about this, it ultimately made me ask... "When did Disney buy Lucasfilm? ... I know it was in 2012, which is interesting on its own, but was it anywhere near the infamous DECEMBER 21 date? No, I don't think so... it was in like May or something, wasn't it?" Googled it... ...it happened on December 21, 2012. Disney buying Lucasfilm destroyed the timeline. So maybe Gordon is right... but it's not Kathleen Kennedy's fault (I think she's always been a scapegoat, kinda driven by misogyny, IMO). It's Disney. Owning Star Wars, AND Indiana Jones and all of Lucasfilm, etc... might be the concentration of power that is throwing everything off balance. Disney owns EVERYTHING, and it feels like it became that way ever since they bought Star Wars. 2012 was the beginning of the feminine/introverted period with Neptune and Pluto in Cap and Pisces, which is corporate power mixed with imagination/art/pop-culture/zeitgeist stuff, amplified by the power of Pluto and the boundless expansion of Neptune. I've correlated that to the regressive, negative, conservative kind of tone to the Trump years that started quietly in 2012 with that infamous dinner where Obama roasted him and Trump likely vowed to become President... then grew in 2015 when he started his campaign, but was initially laughed off as not being a serious threat... then 2016, things take a turn. 2017, becomes president. 2019 is the low-point of impeachment and Epstein and then the pandemic starts at the end of the year... Now... obviously, there's some level of tongue-in-cheekness about this post... I don't think Disney buying Lucasfilm actually caused all this, but it really is a major example of the pattern of energy playing out during this time, and I hadn't really noticed how well it correlates before. Makes me wonder if something big will happen with Disney and/or Lucasfilm in 2024 that will correlate with the end of this period. Indiana Jones 5 basically flopping financially was a big wake-up call for them, I'm sure (in much the same way that Trump getting prosecuted this same year, with multiple charges announced the same month that Indiana Jones 5 came out, was probably a wake-up call for the fact that the Trump years are ending). Disney seems to be in need of a major shake-up. The sickness seems to have spread to Marvel since Endgame in 2019 as well... it's like Rise of Skywalker made it contagious. Right around the time the pandemic began... Alright, I gotta stop now, I'm scared. Someone get Star Wars away from Disney!!! Of course, you could also draw a similar correlation with Warner Bros and DC, ever since 2012 when the Nolan Batman trilogy ended, and the DCEU has struggled to keep up with Marvel. The DCEU has now ended in 2023 with Aquaman 2 being the last one, having started in 2013 with Man of Steel, then 2015 is the turning point with BvS, 2017 is the breaking point with Justice League, and then they've limped to the end ever since. 2019 was when the DCEU was usurped by Joker, which many people saw as being a strangely alt-right kinda movie that almost represents Trumpism. I feel like that image will kinda be shattered by the second one in 2024, which is gonna be a musical with Lady Gaga in it... probably won't feel so much like an alt-right movie, and might feel like it represents the end of the "Trump" feel infecting everything. The toxic masculinity (Capricorn) of the Snyder-verse will be a thing of the past as well, so... I think Warner Bros and DC might correlate better than Disney and Marvel does.
