THIS IS HOW YOU RECOGNIZE IF GINYU REVIVES. When he falls from the sky there can be 2 scenarios: - the tipical "revive" sound effects plays, in that case you know he's got the revive; ( 5:23 ) - no sounds play when he's falling, he didn't get the revive. ( 5:47 ) Edit: thanks to a fellow Ten- comment under mine I discovered that he also revives if his icon flash just before the cutscene of him falling starts.

13:05 How could Goku crit on that since Pan had just completely negated your crit chance buff? (Bardock gave 30% crit rate and Pan reduced it by 30%). If you'd filled up the gauge with Goku, he would have removed the debuff and might have been able to crit. Recently we've got a lot of units that have crit rate debuff, even UVB since there is the Frieza side of Gofrieza.

There is a sound cue when u revive. It happens with every other revive character too. Another way it to look at the icon. U can pay attention to ginyus character icon when he dies. When his hp is down to 0,if the icon sparks then he will revive otherwise no.

There's the typical revive sound effect that plays if Ginyu revives, when you don't hear anything while he's falling then he won't revive.

split second before the revive animation starts, you can look at his main ability, if it shines, revives. If it darken, dies.

There's an audio cue when the revive plays that sounds like electricity when it pops. You can also tell by looking at Ginyu's character portrait if it sparks.

Maybe Ultra SSJ Broly for that leader slot instead of ginyu, could have been a better choice. Just to have that defensive tool and the omni-cover change. Ultra Broly is still fully capable of walling of greens, interrupt combos from others and deals decent damage with bardock buffs. Definitely better synergy in this team.

@@MelonGrace ginyus revival isnt that easy to get when you start with 30% chance on a non ginyu force team. Plus the role of infinite combos is already done by goku himself. You want a purple who can disrupt and snipe greens to enable goku. Ultra broly does that alot better than ginyu. You dont need ginyus infinite comboes.

I disagree with bardock being the worst designed unit in this game's history. He's not even close to the top 10. Just for a few units that are way worse design wise: Ultra vegito blue, ultra rose, ultra rosé, hero Hercule, 1000 day bulma, cooler, IT goku. I can go on. His super saiyan buff passive is a great way to keep a tag that gets buffed once every year or two actually decently relevant. He gives a way for you to use your favourite OG units. Better than vegito blue who litterly rewards you for not knowing how to play this game

5:23 if that lighting-ish sound plays you revive, if not, you don't. If you pay attention at the other Ginyus they don't play that sound when Goresh killed them, therefore they don't revive. You can also look at the little character icon, if it flashes you revive, if it stays darkened you don't.

They should make an android 17 character with a gauge so when the gauge is full, you can charge your Ki fully to activate an ability that integrates the androids "infinite energy" by sending a barrage of undodgeable ki blasts until the ki is empty (like 1 blast = 1 ki out of the gauge or something idk)

Sadly this process of upgrading equipment, art cards, all the differing currencies is where this game lost me. As new player I'm not even going to mention the Zenkai medal process as a F2P player. Maybe it's the combination of confusion, tedium, and sprinkled P2W aspects just completely threw me off.
