In today's Gorgeous Furniture Makeover I will be Using WoodUBend and a Redesign with Prima furniture transfer to give this I wanted dresser a makeover. I will be Blending Chalk Mineral Paint made by Dixie Belle Paint Company for an elegant finish. This furniture flip took on a few different looks before I decided on the final transformation. The hardware and style are exactly what military quartermaster furniture looked like manufactured by I believe Drexel? I had pieces like this in our miltary housing in Germany, and Hawaii.

That turned out beautiful. It's colorful enough for me without being so over the top bright it would look ridiculous in my house. I think a lot of the painted furniture is either honestly kinda dull blah colors or is something out of a crayola box. This is classy. You found the the happy medium.

I love bronze with brown! I also like blue and black with silver, green and red with brass, yellow and orange with copper. I do not like grey at all. Cream and purple looks good with gold.

This is a good example of what can happen when skill and talent intersect. I learned more in this video than in hours of other videos, you answered all of my lingering questions that were making me hesitate to start my first chalk paint project. (ie: using shellac to make it possible to refinish in the future, how to make the last little bit of paint go further, how to use the water etc) THANK YOU SO MUCH! In hope you feel talented,skilled, intelligent and all the other good things as often as others think it but don’t say it (which is a lot).

Whats not to like! Gorgeous job. I could see some finger prints on the top. I did a dresser and noticed that with milk paint if your touch it right after your greasy fingerprints show. I guess they could be rubbed out? Good job though! Love the decal. I would keep that for a while then sell it.
