Many thanks to Tyler & Madison for showing us their fabulous home on wheels. The panoramic windows are a feature that we love most in this build. What is your favourite part of it? Love R&I

To conserve water in the kitchen, get two spray bottles. Fill one with a few drops or dishwashing liquid or vinegar and then fill with water. The 2nd one just plain water. A few sprays and wipes will clean plates, mugs, etc.

Taylor you have done a great job. I must confess to called Triple AAA to have my car tire changed. I could do it if I try. Your family and vehicle looks happy and adventurous.

I was excited to see this video because although I love the vans for our situation an RV makes more sense. This couple is so sweet and I love how they renovated the RV. It DOES look homey, roomy and so so comfy! Plus I love her honesty with her comments on things that are not ideal.. you often do not see that! ❤️

I have been watching tiny houses and everything living for several years and this is probably one of my favorite videos. I like how they have done the home. I really like how this couple gives hope for people that can fix up something that is beautiful and functional. They have such a pretty home while living simply. They have a beautiful home without spending a lot of money.

Very nice layout. I love the old farmhouse style countertop, authentic. Rear lounge looks so comfortable and spacious. You picked a nautical color scheme with blue and white and slatted wood, very pleasing and soothing. Amazing what you both did to the interior of this van, great job! With regard to cabinet doors, try some magnets for loose doors. Learn to sew. The more skills you have combined for the two of you, the better. If you get a vintage Viking Husqvarna 6030 or similar model machine, it sews fairly heavy cloth and is portable. It also does embroidery. Costs nothing on ebay and lots around $100 or less. This is a very solid machine, better than most new ones. Built to last like your van. Make curtains, nothing more homey. If you plan to repaint, try Durabak8, a polyurethane bedliner paint that is very durable but not brittle. It can be roller brushed on. Solvent is Xylene. Follow instructions. its a very durable finish not like the thin paint in a spray can. You both make a charming couple, and have a lovely home on wheels. Enjoy this time in your life, its very precious. Thanks for the tour! Remember to eat healthy food, no carbs, no sugar! Keep it fresh.

That’s where my husband and I are at - an RV is already rigged for all the things (plumbing, electrical, sleeping, etc)- and have been searching for a Toy RV. Sadly most for sale are on the west coast. They’re so reliable!

Agree with you on the 22R. Smart of you to do research before purchasing. I had a 1991 one-ton Toyota truck chassis that Winnebago put an oversized box behind / into the cab. With less than 10,000 miles on the rig, the 3-Liter V6 was starting to burn oil, (with regular oil changes). Even with air-bags, air shocks, was a bit unstable to drive through moderate wind conditions at highway speeds and next to big-rigs. It did move down the highway ok in; “no wind” conditions. Good to hear about good experiences from folks like you. 👍 Thanks for sharing.

This has nothing to do with what a wonderful job you two are doing with you're '80s home. I wanted to tell you the Toyota Chinook (is what it's called) was designed and manufactured by my father Karol Vanzant (He and I have same name) and my uncle Ted Vanzant in Santa Ana CA their Company was called All-Terrain Engineering they had another one which was the retail store called OffRoad Marketing. Made my day to kinda hear you talk about them ( in a round about way). They're both gone... my father 1yr ago Sept 1. Thank you.....

My husband and i are looking for a vintage Toyota Camper to redo so we can travel outside of our State of NY, we currently have a 1969 Travel Trailer which works great for in state Travel but pull behinds are not really made for long travel distances because there not made to handle all the jarring around they take but a driving camper would be great for longer adventures.

Please make sure that your rig got the recall full floating rear end. They did not come stock until the 1990s V6 models. You should be able to track it by the vin. I think you can tell by the number of lug nuts on the dual rear axle. Mine wasn't retrofitted and seized in Great Basin....not fun. Your rig is beautiful. Happy Trails!

Thank you both, what a beautiful story and great job on your home. It really looks warm and homey and I like the ceiling with the tongue and grove. Its interesting I have now heard 3 stories about the same company you used for your batteries, inverter, and panels. Thank you for saying how much they were. Everyone of the videos I have watched has solved me on these great little homes. Its all I look for and the fact its an easy engine to work on. I really enjoyed your video and wish you both good luck safe travel and a long married life.

Thanks for not pretending to be perfect and what’s not so great and what needs fixing. So many videos are unrealistic and only gives a superficial tour. And if no one talks about the parts that doesn’t work or it’s difficult to do a thoughtful rig.

Love your tour. You showed a portable air conditioner in one of your cupboards… do you still like it? Can you tell me what brand it was. We do a lot of boondocking and can’t use the one in our rv. We either need to figure out how to soft start or want to check out what you had. Thanks.

Question... (BTW... Great looking RV). But how do find parking places? I totally want a lifestyle like this.. But Im not wanting to "urban camp" Just feels gheto sketchy and stressful. Im also not wanting to end up in an RV park.. Paying the same rent for my RV Space as I would for an apartment. So I always end up just not making this RV Life move. When I tried it.. I got hassled.... Lots of Walmart Parking lots... Trying not to be noticed. It basically felt like Glam homeless.
