This video was shot on August 28, 2022.
Momotaro eats the treats inside the fire hose.
Genki, who wants to eat it, looks at Momotaro from behind.
After a while, Genki threw sand at Momotaro.
But Momotaro didn't notice, so Genki threw poop at him.
At first, Momotaro thought it was poop falling from the sky.
But Momotaro, realizing that Genki might have thrown it, tilted his head to the side in dissatisfaction.
Genki seems to be purposely throwing poop to avoid hitting Momotaro.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

Genki ' s favorite treat is the large hose ,full of peanuts... She is very good untying the knots. The others had much trouble with the knots ,so they used to play with the empty hose. But Genki gets angry when someone"takes her treats "....🙂

So what do you expect, she had been with 3 silverbacks already and none of them worked out. She has far worse food agression than he does. She chases kintaro down and bit him two nights ago just to take his food. Momo has never bit kintaro over food. You just don't understand the hierarchy of the gorilla world. Almost every time that he has bit genki over food, is because she grabbed his food when he turns around. Any silverback would react the same way.

@@TheFlashyWeasel Why be rude? Since we share 98% of out DNA with gorillas, why does this seem so far fetched to you? If you observe Momotaro's behaviour, he is very fastidious. You will never see him touch feces. He most often stands on a log to defecate to keep himself clean. It is not out of the realm of possibility that he finds Genki's behavior repulsive.

I think this the first video l, I've seen, that Kintaro wasn't playing, he just wanted to be with mom,I Loved when Genski threw poop on Momentaro and Momentaro thought someone threw it from up above,then turned around and seen it was Genski,then he shook his head,Aol. I liked when Gentaro stayed around his family, and. got close to mom and looked her straight in the face he is thinking pay me some attention, he got close to dad to and looked straight at Momentaro to,at least they were looking at each other, that is big for this family.

@7:32 Momotaro was sitting but something made him go into "high alert" looking all around. Kings to and Genki are in the background. Genki senses, Momo's uneasiness. When Kintaro gets up to start walking away, she grabs his waist and pulls him back. It's amazing how they communicate without saying a word.

Momo has put up with a lot over the years with her. Throwing dirt and poop at all of them, spitting on them. Pooping herself every time someone sneezes. No silverback would ever put up with her, momo has been extremely patient with her. She should have never been put in a group, she can't handle the day to day stress of being in a group. And it isn't because of momo, she was like this before momo came along.

Some days Genki seems very anxious and wary of her whole family. Others she has 0 anxiety, and throws poop at them from afar for fun. Usually she has a reason, but come on Momo wasn't even looking at her or anything.

He hasn't mated with her because she hasn't been in estrus. When she is in estrus, she will put off a certain smell and he will pick up on it. The zoo has stated that her estrus hasn't returned yet. It took 6 years after gentaro was born, it's not momo's fault that her health isn't right. But if you think it's funny, keep that attitude when he turns around and attacks her for this behavior.
