Shabani's son, Kiyomasa, was flaunting his behavior to the male chimpanzees of the neighbors.
However, although the chimpanzees show interest in Shabani, they do not show interest in Kiyomasa.
Do they consider Kiyomasa to be of lower rank?
He provoked them many times, but they did not take him seriously.
Again, he came outside to check on the chimpanzees, but there were only little female child chimpanzees there.
He did not show off to the little chimpanzees.
He probably wanted to show his strength to the males.
He is indeed a son of Shabani. He was very cool.

There was a gorilla in lahore zoo where people would scream and shout at the gorila daily and sometimes throw stuff st him. One day a lady came and she had a child with her snd she tried to show it to the gorilla and he snatched the chikd and ripped him apart by pulling his head off. They transferred that gorill to karachi zoo. U can check it on youtube or Google @birbwatcher5677

To me, he's learned from the most unique, empathetic, playful, silly, protective, observant (and many more qualities) silverback I've ever seen and adore. I love watching how much Kiyo is absorbing, learning, copying and has taken in so much from Shabani. It's such a beautiful thing to watch.❤❤❤

You may love watching them but if you could "see" then you would know how sad it is for them to be prisoners of this tiny concrete prison. All the gorillas look to thin and the monkeys look unhealthy and a lot of hair loss. They are bored and stressed daily. There is tension everyday between all the groups . The behavior of the gorilla says it all about how he is feeling. They are not happy or content. Locked up isn't where they want to be nor should be. The zoo only has them because the gorillas are the bread and butter for the zoo. The gorillas are the main attraction people want to see at zoo. Life for these gorillas isn't a happy or good life , it's quite sad . If you look into there eyes you will "see" the sadness they hold. How do you think you would feel if you were a prisoner ( not of your own actions) in a concrete jungle that was way to small while adding more to the groups and being gawked at daily by loud people? There isn't anything to stimulate their mind and everyday is the same over and over . Boredom, stresses them all . The tension will never stop for any of them. The zoo's aren't keeping them to help them (as they claim) they aquire them because it means more profit.

So unfortunately not all of them are fit to be released back into the wild so I am glad they at least have a home. The good News is that the highest recorded ages of Animal/ Mammals living, were from those in Captivity or better yet, Sanctuaries. @@Cosmo-Kramer its a weak argument. 1. Animals that are free usually look healthier, bigger and stronger than their caged counterparts. 2. Being free is arguably less stressful than living a boring life, where everyday is the same old thing over and over over . But the main point is this: You said, a little bit of stress is healthy (a medically researched source please or else it's nothing but yt comment section jibber jabber without any backup), thereby insinuating that other than the neighboring chimps, life isn't stressful for the gorillas, which of course is nonsense as I have stated above. Why? Because you deteriorate mentally, physically and emotionally. So yeah, nice provocative little statement you got there. It's nonsense though.

@@karynsuepohlmeier2109 finally someone with a brain . Yes he looks very sad as the rest of them also look. People look but they don't "see" how these gorillas really feel being forced to stay in their concrete prison for the rest of their lives. People staring at them every single day. A concrete habitat that is way to small already yet more are added to group but the enclosure stays the same. Everyday is the same with nothing to stimulate them at all and that is why they are stressed, bored, depressed, and tense daily . The zoo's have the primates because that is the bread and butter for the zoo. They survive off of the backs of these gorillas because that is the main part of the zoo people go to see is the primates. Without the gorillas and chimpanzees most zoo's would probably have to close due to lack of funding.

They all seem sad. These are very large primates and as many as there are in this family they really don't have adequate space, and definitely not enough green space with natural resources. When I was a child I loved going to the zoo but even then I always felt so bad and sad for all the animals because even at a young age I realized they didn't belong there in these zoo's they belonged and deserved to live in the wild with open space, streams, forest and mountains, and the exotic places they originally were from . I couldn't imagine living in a small area with strange people and faces staring at me all day every day
