Honestly this is the best song I have ever heard, I didn't think Damon Albarn could get those vocals. He kinda was out of pitch at the beginning but he recovered. I wish they would make another album.

They were on hiatus in 2013 but they have said they do plan on making a sequel album to Plastic Beach.

Only heard this song last month - amazing, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Wonderful lyrics, genius musicians. Fed up with people moaning that Gorillaz is just Damon making cash until the next Blur reunion.

We get happy because it's such a great song, and the bouncy energy of the synth riff is hype af, but then we get sad when we pay attention to the lyrics, it is what it is.

Obviously in the studio recorded versions to go in albums they re-take it a lot and make it sound really professional, but I like the un-edited live version, it fits 2-D's character really well
