Personal Favourite Albums: 1. Gorillaz 2. The Fall 3. D-Sides I love The Fall from start to finish, but the first album just tapped into something so great. And it's a complete jumble of musical styles and tones. The Fall is great because it follows one tone, so I guess I like both for different reasons.

Actually, in the lore 2D and Damon both exist, and have even collaborated. It's mentioned in the book that on the track Double Bass, Damon is the one who says "all of which makes me anxious, at times unbearably so". Murdoc even comments that 2D seems to unintentionally replicate Damon's style of singing.

+Rusty Shackleforde I'm guessing it's the 303 synthesizer, replicated by whoever made the app that Damon recorded this album on and edited by Damon to sound like harmonizing trombones, with a bit of reverb. 303 machines are popular in the world of synths and electronic basslines.

Yeah it's because the opening is a lot different from the rest of the song. I have to be honest it should have been it's own song, even if it was only a minute. I respect his choice, but as one musician to another even he has to admit they are two different songs.

Gorillaz *The Fall* was recorded while on the road, and as far as the virtual band goes, it was a secret peice 2-D created while in progress of Plastic Beach, Murdoc wrote all of Plastic beach, but 2-D created this album.

2D's voice is so deep and sad now. This album makes me cry because he's grown up so much since the first phase. It really worries me that everything is still changing, and now it's 2016. I'm worried about the new album, but I know I'll love it no matter what. This was my least favorite album, but they did a great job considering they used a freaking iPad to create the whole thing!

I don't know why, but whenever I hear this song I see waterfalls of sand in the full moonlight. It feels... dry, and lonely. Also that beginning segment really does deserve its own song. That alone feels different. It feels wet, like tears on a guitar. Idk HillBilly Man really sells me on the fact that 2D really is by himself with no certain direction on what he's doing or should do.
