Like it’s really powerful as a low point for the arc.

murdoc _is_ terrified of being alone, y'all. he acts like he likes being an island, but he's really his own worst enemy. he needs the band -- they're the closest thing to a family he's ever known, but he's scared of love too. he can't apologize because nobody ever apologized to him for all the abuse he faced growing up. 2-d is still my life, but murdoc is a beautifully-written and nuanced character all wrapped in a green gremlin package.

I actually love how inconsistent 2Ds teeth animation is. Like originally he had his two front teeth missing. Then in plastic beach he had his teeth but they were chipped. And now he only has one missing front tooth. I love to think that he’s been fixing and losing his teeth regularly Hahaha.

i remember by brother showing me this when it came out. he was so excited. i had no interest so i pretended to be excited. that memory is stuck with me as part or my childhood. gorrilaz makes up most of my childhood memories and i want to thank it for that. ive only just started listening to them and now im obsessed. when i hear certain songs, it completely stabs my in my soul and makes me tear up. thankyou gorrilaz for giving me those good and bad memories (i used to be terrified of feel good inc.)

Aries is currently a song I really relate too, my closest friend I’ve ever had recently said he didn’t want to be friends anymore I tried begging him to stay friends with me knowing he was the only reason I was happy and that without him I’d be a wreck, We had been through good times and bad times and sometimes we could get separated and just stop talking but I would always come back and text him again after a few months, I’m tempted to do it again, to text him and rely on him to make me happy again but I understand that I can’t do that, I need to be happy with myself, my happiness shouldn’t be a chore for someone, he was a good friend and I hope to talk to him again in the future when I can take care of myself and not relay on others for happiness.
