The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 2017 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. The game is a part of The Legend of Zelda series and is set at the end of its timeline. The player controls an amnesiac Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber and is tasked with saving Princess Zelda and preventing Calamity Ganon from destroying the world. Similar to the original 1986 Legend of Zelda, players are given minimal instruction and can explore the open world freely. Released on March 3, 2017, Breath of the Wild was a launch game for the Nintendo Switch and the final Nintendo-published game for the Wii U. Two waves of downloadable content were released in 2017 via an expansion pass. Breath of the Wild received universal acclaim. It won several Game of the Year awards and has since been cited as one of the greatest video games of all time. Breath of the Wild is also the top selling game in the series and one of the best-selling video games of all time, selling more than 30 million copies by 2022. A spin-off, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, was released in 2020; a sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is scheduled for 2023.

Normally, I’d agree that a sculpture giving a thumbs up would be touristy, however, for the Gorons it’s entirely in character.

I used to rush things in BotW but after seeing Ryan enjoy and sink into every town for the first time, I decided to do the same in TotK. I even avoided most material about the game to take the blindest experience I can. ❤

Regarding your question at 24:25 yes, u got one heart container from defeating waterblight ganon and u do start out with 3 hearts. Also there is something that might be of interest for u if u consider a future 3 hearts run. I HOPE this is not a spoiler (otherwise publicly bonk me pls) - the heart container u received from Vah Ruta , you don’t *need* to pick it up. You can choose not to.

He's just gonna do it completely counterclockwise, which I think is how the developers intended from a linear design standpoint. But ofc it depends on the player, some people immediately get the middle tower, some get it last

@@dracoargentum9783 *heart container. it's heart containers and stamina vessels. not that important -- i only mention it because "heart containers" are a thing in all zelda games (iirc) while stamina vessels are a completely new thing as of BotW.

I'm really bad about not commenting on videos but I've been enjoying this series! Thanks to you I've realized I actually find it much easier to watch long series as they're being released than binge watching them, which I would have never expected because that is the opposite of how I am about everything else.

Vague mine cart related spoiler below... . . . . . . . . . . . . It is hilarious to me that Ryan has tried to solve nearly every situation with bombs and then one thing comes along where the bomb is the "intended" solution and he switches away from bomb to try stasis first ❤️

And another triumphant episode! I sure hope Ryan remembers to check in at kakarikos resident plus size mommy for no apparent reason😳😳, also congrats on solving the shae sa'mosa shrine, i struggled so hard on that one. I didnt realize the wheel actually did anything because it didnt trigger any reaction the first time, so i ignored it for far too long 😂😭 P.S. this isnt a spoiler since it isnt mentioned at all in game, but the goron statues standing watch over Goron City are all actually famous goron heroes/characters from throughout the zelda universe and timeline!

When you went behind the water wheel thing, it misaligned it so that it didn't spin properly the first time. I've never seen that happen with anyone before because nobody has gone behind the wheel.
