Crested Goshawk parenting - nesting, hunting, preparing food, feeding, protecting chicks against many predators in the park. The two chicks grew up fast. The mother Goshawk stays within 30m from the nest on a nearby tree to watch over the two chicks. The male Goshawk hunts, transfer food to the mother for her to pluck the feathers, skin the prey, and bring it to the nest to feed the 2 young chicks. At the time of this video, the two juveniles were fledging. Soon they will learn to hunt from their parents.
