Your 100% Right. What a privelege it must have been. This genre has blessed me.I would fall in that tribe along with American Native. During Covid I fell in love with this Old Time Jet Fuel for the Soul! ❤️ these guys along with: The Rev. Cheeks, The Consolers, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dixie Hummingbirds, Soul Stirrers, Mrs. Inez Andrew's, you name it. I listen most every morning. I share it with those I know and meet to. I was a soldier who grew up with and broke bread with Black and Brown. For Praise music this genre is #1 all the way. God Bless

I’m so glad I grew up integrated. Us whites and blacks lived and loved and churches together. I know the reason he is dancing and singing so hard. I love every aspect of it. ❤😊

Too many uptight white people. But the boys kept singing. Hallelujah!
@jackpalance9509 Жыл бұрын
I don't know about uptight, they had enough good taste for the Gospel to be there! You have to keep in mind the times, probably the first time that they ever experienced such a dynamic powerhouse of a Gospel Group! I will say if I were there I'd of been shaking and a moving! God Bless!

@Blu-Man I stand by my views. I will add one thing: I read since the year ago that I posted, In those years, that is the mid to late 60's, many of the Gospel Giants from America were doing many live performances in Europe. Mainly Holland and France. That being said,perhaps there could have been a language barrier. Either way I see NO skin tone of people as a monolith. (too many uptight white people)With the location being unknown (Likely Holland since everyone appeared to be white.) In the mid 60's, I'd guess this was the first time that these group of people had seen a Gospel Group Live..They appeared to be enjoying themselves. I certainly didn't see them making a mad dash for an exit. Bob Washington was out in the audience shaking their hands.What is it that you and I disagree with here?
