Wow, awesome discussion!!! The 21st century church is in dire need of Harry experiences. I grew up Pentecostal, and I'm thankful for it but I need more than jumping, shouting, running, etc. This was awesome. I enjoy the opened discussions. Thanks a lot!

I think Pastor Keller and all the pastors are blessing the church by making videos like this. I can only truly share with people things which are truly my own. If I am constant in my study of the Holy Bible, praying, fellowshipping the Holy Spirit becomes stronger in me. When I speak to others about my faith in Christ I can rely on the Holy Spirit to give me words to say and silences to enjoy. This is not preaching, but it is sharing the gospel. I think heart sensitivity may be more difficult for some men to experience, however men are called to be leaders in the church. This is why it is of ultimate importance that pastors be thoroughly washed in the word of God It is a work of God to be called to preach. 👐

Be real, use a good illustration that people are familiar with, and relate it back to Jesus. Find the balance of head and heart that your audience needs. Some people need more Bible emphasis, while others need more emphasis on feelings and application. Good stuff.

Preach more conviction of sin, like John the Baptist who prepared people’s hearts to receive the gospel from Jesus.

How about the ones that are called by God to preach just spend time with the lord and He will give the word instead of trying to over analyze everything, If one is called to preach The anointing will do it
