slame catzwell Technically speaking, Tina has it. Erica has a great voice and she is a great singer, and I’m not trying to discredit her in any way, but Tina is far better in terms of control, pitch, and diction. Not to mention, Erica sings soprano a lot of times but she is not a soprano like Tina.

@@joelprice6028 thank you for all your reasons for why Tina is the best and I dont disagree with any of them. I just wanted to give them both credit for having great voices .Erica doesn't have all the power that Tina has but, there are many times when I just appreciate the power and tone of Ericas's voice over the high soprano of Tina. Don't get me wrong , Tina is the Powerhouse of the group but, that's not always what I need. I am old gen , I grew up on people like Sam Cooke, Shirley Caesar, Edna Gallman Cooke. People who didn't shout and scream. I really appreciate singers like them. I dont know if you ever heard of them ..ok be blessed.

Joel Price Erica is a mezzo soprano but she knows got can’t go as high as Tina so she doesn’t try

Tina is my fav too and Erika is gorgeous to me! Both can still sing but again Tina is my favorite 😁

How did her husband mess this group up Erica and her husband was tryna figure out how Erica could go solo without it causing issues between the sisters way before anybody knew anything about tinas husbands infidelity

@@chinajohnson9805 he was trying to get Erica to go solo because Tina threatened to quit the group on a regular basis. Tina even walked off the stage and left Erica Up there by herself. Teddy and his cheating made her not wa t to work because she was in so much pain over Teddys cheating.So yes he played a major part in breaking up the group.

slame catzwell he was tryna get Erica to go solo since season one what you’re talking about is season 4 and five to which Erica had done already went solo and she used Tina knowing she had a lot going on in her life at the time to go to Africa b/c they didn’t just want Erica by her self they wanted Mary mary warren and Erica wanted Erica to go solo since the beginning of the series b/c Tina didn’t want to work as much as they use to b/c she wanted to be home with her family more it was a double standard the whole series b/c when they wanted to cater to home it wasn’t a problem but always gave Tina so much grief about the things she was and wasn’t willing to compromise

@@chinajohnson9805 this is kind of old to be debating it, but I will say this, Tina got the big head because she thought Erica couldn't make it without her, and Tina was scared to work because she was afraid to leave Teddy. That's why Tina fired Mitch, she said he wasn't getting them the jobs out of the U.S. Tina was a terror and showed Erica much disrespect. Tina was very rude and nasty to Erica.She only continued to work with Erica because a close friend called her and told her not to leave Mary Mary because she might need Mary Mary because Teddy was cheating .That's the only reason she went back. You can't just treat people any kind of way. See who had to go crawling back to who ☺☺

slame catzwell it is old to be debating about it especially if your gonna be one sided in your debate I don’t know what show you were watch or what kind of Lenses you were watching it through b/c Tina didn’t fire Mitch they came to a collective agreement and it was more of warren & Erica wanting Mitch gone because they didn’t like how he felt a certain kind of way about them goin behind his back and getting another manager to manage Erica solo career & didn’t even ask him or have the curtsy to tell him she was going in a different direction manager wise and Erica treated Tina the same way Tina treated her Erica just did it in a more sneaky way and often hid behind warren with her foolishness & the close friend calling her didn’t have anything to do with mary mary Tina actually didn’t wanna take those gigs after the infidelity due to her issues in her marriage but Erica wasn’t having luck booking things b/c people wanted both Mary’s so her and warren baited Tina into things so Erica could benefit from them as a soloist & Tina didn’t have to go crawling back I don’t even know where you go that from warren owed Sony over 6 figures from where he had been taking advancement from the company and they wanted him to pay them back so he then decided to pause ericas solo carrer and make her convince Tina to do another Mary Mary project to get him out the hole he was in so actually if anybody had to come crawling back it would be Erica and her husband not Tina who at the time was working on her own stuff like i said I don’t know what show you were watching or lenses you was watching it through b/c your whole thread was false & your only talking about the last two season when I have already told you Erica and warren was plotting on Erica going solo from season one so yes you should be careful how you treat people b/c they ganged up on her acted like she was such a problem and Erica could do it all alone on her own and then boom gets hit with a financial crises they need her help to get him out of & Erica is doing radio & guest judging instead of music b/c nobody was buying her music like they thought the public would when they kept saying she could be this great solo star without Tina
