2: yep spot on. I have a narcissistic mother and nosy family. Everyone thinks they know me but they don't. I'm a very honest and authentic person and it bothers them that I refuse to conform or live as they want me to. I've been getting counseling to find myself and not all the projections/controlling/manipulations etc.. people put on me. I'm a private person. I share a lot of what I'm doing on social media but nothing personal so people think they know what that stuff means but they don't. It's kind alike how celebrities you see a lot of what they are doi ng but you don't actually know them but people think they do. The time thinkg is because of all the trauma of my narcissistic parent upbringing I'm on disability getting help to allow me to take several years off to heal and recoup before having to go to work but I've lied about it and haven't told others about it because it's my business and not theirs. It doesn't bother me what they think though at all though. I just laugh at how nosy people are and it make me not want to even hang otu with them and I think it bothers them but idc though. My counselor keeps telling me to just foucs on myself and pour into myself and that healthier people will eventually come along instead and that's what I'm doing. :) I do have great boundaries now with the help of my counselor and am very selective because I didn't use to be once upon a time and that bothers people too that I'm not the person I used to be that they can't tell me what to do anymor or be timid for them anymore or look all girly anymore. Now I'm private, independent, strong, full of boundaries and it upsets people around me. I am a very interesting person and people really do want to be around me and in my energy and it bothers them that I refuse to do so often. It bothers people around me that I don't have kids, no longer married and get to spend all my time on taking care of myself, my home, my clothes, having fun, etc.. and they get jealous that I get to do this and don't live as they do.
