That's what I admire about her. I lived in Cali near LA years ago and all the fakeness and superficial, shallow ppl, yuck had to return to the east coast. Cali is beautiful and a fun state to visit, but for me, not to live there and besides it's expensive to live there, the traffic is outrageous etc etc.

But my dad was the exact same way with my mom. Yet my mother's family was extremely affectionate, my dad's family was not. I take after my mother's family and am not married, but have dated guys that are very affectionate, of course. Sounds strange , but every family is different. Life is weird in this day and age. To be perfectly honest with you, I'm glad I've never been married, since I am 64 years old now. I'ts too much trouble and aggravation involved nowadays, kids, child support, etc. Just sayin.
