Yeah, anyone who said "you can't feel a microchip" just doesn't know how to feel for them. I work in the vet field, and volunteer in a shelter on my days off, trust me, I check right after I chip an animal, you can feel it. I'm so happy there was a happy ending to the story for this cat! My cat ran away when I was a kid, I grieved, because: the stats are real. He was chipped, but whoever had him, clearly didn't know. Then a month later, my cat comes strolling back home with a collar on, and the name tag "Brian" I felt like my boy cheated on me, lol!

Literally crying rn because Eugene casually mentioned how some ppl are ace or demi, and said that it's totally valid and okay. Getting even the smallest bit of validation and recognition by anyone at all always makes me emotional. I am queer and on the ace spectrum, and my family does not accept the fact that I am attracted to other women. I don't really know what to refer to my actual sexuality as, so I end up just referring to myself as bi, polysexual (not polyamorous), or gay. I like the term queer for myself because I feel like that label isn't quite as "restricting" as the rest because it doesn't have such a clear cut definition. For me, being queer could also mean I'm bi, a lesbian, poly, pan, omni, etc. Please don't call others queer unless that is how they chose to be labeled as (if they want a label) because it can also be seen as derogatory. Anyways, Eugene and all of the try guys and wives have really helped me to figure out my sexuality, and I couldn't be more grateful. You provide a safe and loving community that accepts ever person under that rainbow, and I don't think you guys realize how valuable that is. For me and many others who don't have a safe home and who aren't accepted by their families, communities like this can be life-saving. You don't know how amazing it feels to have a space where I don't feel like I'm hated or being judged. To know that there are straight people who don't see me as some disgusting parasite, and instead support me, it feel like a warm comforting hug after a stressful, cold, and brutal day. The Try family is truly like a safe haven from a homophobic storm. Thank you all so much, and thank you Eugene for educating everyone about the LGBTQ+ community.

Good to hear happy story for the cat! I know how you feel. We looked after a cat (not chipped) for nearly a year, treated it as our own and eventually found its owner. Such a cutie and so so sad to say goodbye! We were glad though we could give it a good life while we could!
