How do you know if you have a 2.4 WiFi? Never been able to get mine to work

Help ! I tried to connect my bulb but impossible. I put my wifi on 2.4, change de security setting ; and did the AP mod but impossible to connect.. my bulb stop flashing for a while but the app cannot see it.

Can u manage 2lights at the same time, sync them to be manage together. I don't like the idea of changing one bulb n then the other. Help!

How do you add it to the Alexa command. Can you pAir 5 and then a separate 5 all to synchronise as one X 2 (5 bulbs)

I have 3 other Gosund plugs that work fine. I even removed the device from my apps and they reconnected perfectly. I assume Gosund sent some out with a poor firmware issue.

I find that the issue is that all steps work fine until the app needs to find the bulb , then it fails regardless of being in easy or AP mode. Another thing is that if you are installing the bulbs into to wall fixtures or pendent lighting, you can’t get ‘closer’ to the router. And another, virtually all modem/routers broadcast both 2.4 and 5 so saying you must be on 2.4 is not a lot of help

It’s so easy all you have to do is connect when the lights are blinking slow that’s the only way it works

In the smart life app, it’s telling me to login with EMAIL. But if I try linking with Alexa, it asks for a phone number login. Uh... there is no phone number login. The app made me login with email. Not phone. How do I pair it to Alexa now. Edit: nvm. I’m an idiot. I paired it to Alexa. I love it. It connects successfully. Awesome!

Great help for sure! I was able to get one bulb paired but when I try to pair a bulb in another room, once I select the bulb as the hot stop the bulb ALWAYS stops blinking taking me out of pairing mode. I’ve tried multiple times with no luck. Any advice?

Do we have to go through all this for every individual light bulb we install? Or, Once we install one light bulb and set it up with the app, all the rest we install in different rooms will automatically work?

I don't know anything about smart light bulbs, but I'm in the market to add them around my house, I saw these same bulbs on Amazon and they said "No Hub Required" but do do these bulbs require a smart plug?

Easy set up for my Gosund Smart Bulb, I put it in my garage.

Only problem we are having with it is using voice control. Through alexa anyone can command the light no problem. Through google devices is another animal of it's own. It will only allow the registered user's voice command it. Even after adding everyone in the home as a family member with there own Google account..still, only one voice is recognized to control the damn thing.. ?? Any helpful knowledge on this mess??

How do you connect with alexa

I got mine to work after almost giving up. Here's what I did. Keep in mind I'm kind of a wifi safety nut, so I had to first disable mac filtering and access control on my router. Then, I disable smart connect on my tplink router to be able to give a seperate name to my 2.4g network. Once that was done, I switched to ap mode instead of easy mode. Followed the instructions from the app and it finally worked. There is also a tutorial video to setup AP mode, so that could be helpful. After that, I was able to get the mac adresses for each individual bulb and add them to both my mac filter and access control whitelists, and then reenable my router security. Now everything is talking to each other and it works great! It sure was a pain to figure out though...

i kept trying all night and it didn’t work i gave up and now im gonna try again if it doesn’t work i’m returning it. this setup is so stupid i’ve tried everything, i’ve watched so many yt videos and went through so many comments. i can’t get them to even connect.

these bulbs are dig shit man. i literally bought one of these circa 2019 and i had the app to control it and it looked exactly like that app but under a diff name. a few months into having the bulb it would CONSTANTLY disconnect and i would have to put it in again as a new device everytime. but it just stopped working eventually and constantly said it was offline despite it being very much not offline. i gave up since it was stuck at the normal color. but when i finally decide to try putting the bulb in something else, it completely refuses to connect. So i find this video. and i needed to download the same app i already have and try to connect it there. but when i get to the new app is says MY WIFI IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED? irrationally upset, but mostly confused and peeved.

having to be on a 2.4 GHz network is so random and arbitrary doesn't matter why it has to be on 2.4 GHz, its just an extra condition for this product to work

This is my first message after 30 minutes of trying: Bad feedback on Amazon, and returning them, not working. Will buy Phillips next time... Second, it worked, but he should show you his phone how to do it and how to connect it, you need to go to wi-fi settings and click on your phone screen smart....than press return button, without going to wi-fi settings return button, when blinks slow. For me didn't work fast blinking mode, only slow.

So when you turn off the light and turn it back on make sure the bulb when turned on gradually lights up if it doesn’t then it’s not resetting if it just turns on then you need to leave it on for 10s and then off for 10s then try again I believe this guy doctored the vid because his doesn’t do that he’s an asshole for that 😂

Never could get it to work. But the app did scan my system and tell me that it found my Samsung tv. Except I don't own a Samsung tv or any other tv. Big thumbs down and one star on Amazon. Just going to use this as a regular bulb I guess.

gosund is absolute shit. light hulbs randomly start flashing, when they do they need to be re-added to the app, and then added to every light g profile individually. company refuses to stand behind their products or even respond.

These bulbs are Terrible some connect great then others will not al all and the ones that do connect will randomly disconnect. And no it’s not my WiFi I have one of the fastest speeds money can buy

Honestly, this was the worst smart light I’ve ever had. Our lamp requires 2 light bulbs and it’s impossible to connect pair both lights. Each bulb needs to be paired and after pairing the first one, to connect the second one you need to turn off the main switch again which resets the first bulb. Simply the dumbest process to “pair” device. Fuck this product. Literally one bulb keeps on blinking. It wouldn’t have been a problem if I could simply remove it but my ceiling is tall and it’s not that easy to change those bulbs. Seriously, what a waste of money and time!

Who is going to pay for all the stuff i have installed that is now usless becauise of this video? My eldearly gran relied on her smart devices now she cant use any of them because of this dvice!!

Absolute crap! Doesn't work at all. Spend 2 hours setting up two of these lights. Waste of money. Callex smart bulbs are a much better option. Worked first time
