I would love to see a review of the all solid flight soprano uke as it seems very nice and for a reasonable price. It also has these vintage looks

My guess is the lack of specification allows the company to switch production around or buy whatever woods are available/ at low cost, without constantly having to check that they are within a nailed down specification.

Fun to see the mustache headstock next to your own mustache. Maybe I’m noticing this since I’ve grown my own Covid mustache. By the way I second your opinion of that Les Paul uke--I’ve never seen one I felt was worth owning.

Epiphone had a very nice Masterbilt uke about 10-15 years ago. Nice construction and lightweight.

I was quite surprised when I seen it, they've actually made a proper ukulele looking ukulele. It looks really nice, the colour of the tuners fits in nicely with binding on the body and it sounds pretty good too.

The fretboard is a bit too narrow for your hands, and everything on a soprano is a bit too narrow for mine! Then again, after playing exclusively tenors and baritones for quite a while, I bought a concert, and guess what now lives next to my chair?

I love the little graphic at the headstock. Super nice looking might be the closest I get to a Gibson ukulele. On another note I worked at a school where they had epiphone guitars and basses and then a wall of ukuleles. Could definetly see these being the school kid uke

Great review like always! Quick question, are you planing on reviewing any of the Kala's starter kit ukuleles by any chance? They offer them in a bunch of different looks and styles now but i was wondering if they're any good sound wise.

Ugh. Sharp fret ends. I guess it is a decent beginner uke, but it really sounds echoey as you say which makes it seems less clear and articulate. But for $80 not too bad at all! I do like the style of the end of the fretboard near the sound hole. Looks cool, and overall I like the way it looks too.

I’ll bet you can find out if that bridge is placed right or not. Just play up the neck, past the 7th fret. It could have poor intonation up there.

I think it looks nice, not flashy but traditional. Sustain seemed good and in my opinion the tone is what you’d expect from a uke of this price range. I would have thought that Epiphone would lend it’s name to some better quality ukuleles. Good fair, review. “Stay Alert”

Thank you for the comment on friction tuning pegs. That seems to be the only real negative here? I just started playing on a Kala concert ukulele and was wondering about the difference between Kala and Epiphone and concert and soprano ukuleles and if this might be a step up ukulele for later? From your video it seems maybe my Kala has less sustain and they both have laminate board. I wonder if the Kala has the friction pegs you are talking about? The C string on mine seems like it loses tune easiest and is looser than the others. This Epiphone seems to sound really nice! Do you have an opinion on Enya ukuleles also? KZfaq ukulele teachers seem to like them. Thank you for your video!

Good review, Baz. Why the hell did they put the bridge in so far back? 'Ever seen that before? Also sounds to me that the intonation's out. But for 80 quid, it's Ok. Pretty at least.

Like other guitar makers, when it comes to other instruments, the reason they don't have a good list of specifications is because they have no idea. I've noticed the same thing with banjos over the years. They just don't have a clue what these non guitar instruments are made from. They are probably ordered in rather than made at their own facility. We'll have 2000 of those. Just put our name on the headstock. The main spec on the website is that the body shape is "Ukulele". That's probably good enough for them.

Hi I was wondering if you were going to review the fender Fullerton uke I think they look great but I have bad feeling that they will be a bit gimmicky
