When a musical instrument makes you feel something before you even pick it up. Unreal creativity. "A resonator, but without the metallic twang"...this is why GotAUkulele is the best uke channel online.

BLOODY AMAZING! The most beautiful instrument I think I've EVER seen. This literally makes you gasp. If it didn't play at all, it could be mounted on rotating jig, under lights, for mindfulness sessions. The fact that it does play, is a plus. I find it totally magnificent. Now I'M blathering. Thanks for the review Baz. This has to go down as one of the best, that I've witnessed. Stay safe mate. 👍

Despite the fact that there are indeed a few luthiers who come out w\ 'a piece of art', i seldomly call an ukulele that. Well, this one is one! 'Out of this wörld' you said … and yes, that’s what it is! Price? I was keenly waiting and expected more than double!

Are you kidding me? That uke is just stunning and $2,000? I was guessing 6K, so I am shocked! I would own that if I had that money. It is one of those rare instruments that makes you smile when you play it, and smile when you just look at it as a part of art in your home! Thanks!

To me it has a sort of cyberpunk/baroque visual look (if that makes ant sense). The sound is very balanced and clear and for the right piece of music might well be the perfect instrument. BTW this seems to be this channel doing one of the things it does best - showing instruments we may never get to see or might not even ever have heard of. A superb watch.

Ray, that's stunningly beautiful. The imagination and skill you have to create this instrument is so impressive. I love how it sounds as unique as looks; a warm, woody banjo-esque plinky plonk. I love how it might not sound "perfect", but is full of it's own charm and character. Great review Baz. Thanks for saying paua too, BTW! Didn't need to have the sound on to know how much you enjoyed this one (although I did), your expressions said it all 😂

O. M. G. I thought the case alone would be 2000. We've all goggled at the looks, so I'll just add that finger-picking kind of gives it a touch of that bell-like resonance of a cavernous Renaissance lute. O. M. G.

What an amazing instrument! Certainly museum quality piece of art but fully functional. The design, fit, and finish compliments its maker. Question is: do you display it or play it? While I like the voice - crisp with a decent sustain, would I risk taking it to a public venue or travel long distances? Price resistance is not the issue, portability is my concern. Maybe handling it reveals greater strength and durability. Botton line, this is a gem!
