Yes they are good, but i am planning for a remap as well so for that increased power. These will suit better.

Polo do just fine with 205 the steering tightness is not much of an issue

I would say there is no need as such, the whole point of getting bigger tyres was to get more grip because stock mrf tyres weren’t putting the power down, ride quality over bad roads will also be better in the current 15inchers, But you can upgrade to better tyres in 15” than stock for less road noise, better grip around corners etc.

My polo is 1.2 mpi highline stock tyre is r15 am planning to upsize into r16 195 /55 is that affect performance?? Or any issues for steering shaft

@@archlinux8390 I'm now running 195/60/R15 and they're more than sufficient. I test drove a polo 1.0 tsi with 195/55/r16 and it seemed fine with that engine. For my less powerful 1.2 mpi I'd not go beyond r14 if driving in City mostly and not beyond 195/60/R15 if used on highways. Braking in the polo is not that great to begin with and upsizing dues affect it a bit on my 15 inch steel rims ( not alloys) . But you get much better choice of soft grippy rubber at R15/16. I'm running mrf perfinzas and they're really good so far.

@@archlinux8390 you definitely have lots of choices of alloys and tyres in r16 than R15. Later polos came with 195/55/r16 and i test drove one: it felt fine. Just check suspension part numbers of later polos(r16) and your polo, if they're same or compatible, you should be fine. If not, you need to be careful before upgrading

With these it’s doable & also I don’t use the car much for family purposes the because lack of space, 17s will definitely feel stiff but will have insane grip levels so it’s about priority

16 are nice for handling better grip, 15 will give you more ride comfort

No pickup is even better because the car gets more grip, earlier it use spin a lot. 55 i bought mainly due to our road conditions

Difference is marginal & suspension is tuned nicely on this car, so it isn’t noticeable at all but on the plus side it has much more grip in the corners.

16 inch is max for polo which provides better grip & 15 for better ride quality

There is not much point as i20 is much more of a family hatchback with the comfy ride, Yokohama earth 1 is a better option for it

Mine had mrf zvtv from factory, lasted 32000km became super hard after 6 years, would've lasted for atleast 10000km more. I replaced them with continental cc5 , which lasted for 35000km, no complaints, then changed to perfinzas after upsizing to 195/60/R15
