Isn't it weird that one of the characters you hated end up being one of your favourites. I love Game Of Thrones because it shows the good and bad in people. There is good and bad in all of us to certain degrees, and this show portrays it well!!!

Kaarel Kahu we need pure hated characters every once in awhile. Especially in a show like GoT with tons of morally ambiguous characters. Think about it: how annyoing would it be if literally every character was morally redeemable in some way. It's nice to have a scapegoat character to shove all our hate on.

Best character in GoT in my opinion - and about as close to what a knight was *actually* like in the medieval era as we're ever likely to see on screen - brutal, battered, but with a weird honour code.

Sandor Clegane always reminded me of Professor Snape from Harry Potter. I knew and understood from very early on they were both VERY misunderstood characters. It was for them that the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" was invented.

Well I'm glad that in Season 8, the both of them still have a sort of mutual respect for one another. Arya brought out the good in the Hound. If not for her, he'd still be stealing from farmers and murdering bandits most likely.

A broken man whose compassion was simply bottled up due to family betrayal, hard necessity and work opportunity. But it was bound to brim over some time or other...wonderful character. Perhaps the best psychological profile in GOT.

The story of the mount is more relatable than the other main characters in my opinion because he didn't start off with a healthy mindset but a rather crude and immoral one. He was betrayed at a young age by someone that was suppose to be his keeper (the mount) which to a degree justifies his resentment towards everyone but along the way he has been transformed towards a principled way of being by encountering people who still see a glimmer of good in him. "You can still help a lot more than you've harm Clegane. It's not to late for you." My favorite character!

This was the video I was looking for! After watching Jamie the Kingslayer, my next favourite chacter is Sandor Clegane, both having the parallel of being characters with non-traditional and complex moral story arcs that require you to look deeper than the basic concept that 'good or bad deeds means good or bad man'. The hound should never be thought of as a broken man. Cleganes character, is no doubt very complicated, emotionally scarred by the cruelty of his older brother burning his face, he would be a flawed and sometimes contradictory personality, .....but, despite being a skilled ruthless killing machine, possibly for twenty years plus, he seems to have a slight sense of remorse or compassion, and unlike many mercenaries/ soldiers of fortune,from any country or era......not a rapist!!, and clearly detested rapists!!!!!!,

I disagree with anyone that thought he ended poorly. Out of anyone in the disappointing 8th season, I thought the Hound’s character had a magnificent close. Looking after Arya to the end and putting a stop to his antithesis of a brother once and for all really spelled the Hound’s redemption quite nicely in my opinion. He is and always will be my favorite GOT character.

Everyone wants the hound to kill his brother. I always wanted it to be Arya. In my mind she saves him at the last moment. Then he never had to feel alone. The hound and the wolf pup.

Very good video. Sandor is my favourite character. I hope I'll kill the Mountain. Yes, he's a broken man. J'espère que Sandor tuera son frère la Montagne, ce monstre. Pour moi, c'est le héros parfait, pas romantique c'est clair, mais si attachant, c'est un homme bourru, qui a souffert, mais qui peut tout donner. J'espère tellement qu'il aura un peu de bonheur à la fin de la série. Il aime Sansa, mais je pense qu'il n'aura pas le bonheur de la serrer dans ses bras. Il partira, homme solitaire, vers de nouvelles aventures, s'il n'est pas tué. Les scènes Sandor/Sansa et Sandor/Arya sont les meilleures de la série... TeamSandor for the Cleganebowl !!!

Ned Stark was a decent man in an indecent place. That does not make him a fool. As far as being Arya's real Dad, he hired Syrio Forell to teach her to fight, he encouraged her to be who she really was and he loved her dearly.
