I remember when they song this song in 1972 because I was still in high school. I loved these two entertainers and I was sad when they broke up. Ciifton Davis looks amazing at this age. Melba was one of my favorite singers along with Minnie Ripperton for hitting those high notes.

I can truly appreciate Melba's strength to overcome obstacles, having recovered from her much publicized exasperating separation & divorce. A gentle spirit with the heart of a lion.

I just happened upon this video and I must say that my mom used to talk about them as a couple and then how they broke up.... I wish she was alive to see t his performance...it was stellar. Blessings to both of them...
