For those who don’t have time to read all the comments and respective replies, the gorgeous “baby” is now 21. She studied art and is now in college. She admits she’s still a daddy’s girl. I think her mommy lets her think that because mom was so wonderful and loving. 😕

Soo sad that it's not their biological parents who hug, embrace, feed and bond with these adorable babies..soo glad that there are others from the west who adopt them and truly love them as their children. These babies are God's children who deserve all the love and care of adults.

This is the first time I have ever wanted to comment on one of these sweet adoption videos I love, love, love the gentle way that mama seems to instinctively show love to her baby as a way to handle her, letting her see she is precious, And papa, he was the best papa ever. I loved the running commentary, some insightful, some caring and some that made me smile so big. Helena is right where she is supposed to be. and I could listen to you talk forever.

This video brought tears to my eyes! I was adopted from the same province 2 years prior and I am a friend of Helena's. I wish my parents had footage like this

This is a wonderful video!! Dad's commentary is great. One thing I love about this video is you showed time with your daughter after "gotcha day". Yes, touristy stuff, but lots of time with your daughter. Helena, try to have patience and sympathy for the idiots who post negative comments about your family and your video. Their lives must be very dreary to find something negative to post. Love the dogs, too. I grew up in Bessemer, AL in the 60's and 70's when it was safe to live there! Currently living in Richland, WA. But I come home about once a year. Awesome video. Especially great since it was done in 2001!
