I recommend watching the show first. The songs give a lot of spoilers for the story since they are not plain songs for the means of throwing a song in there but they actually drive the story forward and give quite some big reveals.Therefore, I recommend to separate the song reaction from the series reaction or just make it as a series reaction. Also, the songs hit even harder with more context of the show. I am very sure that you will love the song "More than anything" very much^^. For explanation. The creator of this show is youtube creator Vivziepop. She released the pilot episode and a music video "addict" on her channel in 2019 and it went viral because for an indie project without many funds this project animation and overall quality is absolutely crazy and amazing. Therefore, it didn't take long and it was picked up by A24 and Amazon Prime. The first season was then released in Jan 2024 with 8 episodes. I highly recommend to watch the pilot first because you get more context of the world and some characters. If you like Hazbin Hotel I highly recommend the other show Vivziepop released completely on her YT channel called Helluva Boss (currently S2 airing). This is in the same universe but focusses more on the hellborn and character driven story while Hazbin Hotel is more story driven with an overall plot of the sinners (people who died and are sent to hell). Both shows are really good but be aware these are both adult shows with a lt of swearing (for YT you will have to cencor the c-word a few times) very cheeky jokes, tackeling addiction, abuse and stuff (but on a jokingly and tactful way - walking the fine line but still portraying it very real). Be careful if you have triggers in that area. Especially Hazbin Hotel epsiode 4 is mentally brutal - so be prepared. But imo it is absolutely worth the watch. A lot of creator have reacted to Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss on youtube.

the show was made by vivziepop iv been watching her for years and she one my biggest inspiration and yes the pilot on KZfaq and it got pick up by amazon to turn into a series the VA are diferent though from the pilot there also a sister series to hazbin call helluva boss where instead redemming souls like hazbin trying do the princess of hell try to do it kinda the opposit where they get hire to kill people but it does become more plot driver later on but both are adult series and ep 4 in hazbin is 18+ it deal heavy in SA and angel dust situation

@@SecretNTheBloodySnow yes, the VA's are different because in the show they managed to get real broadway singers to do the VA and singing. In the pilot a lot of characters had 2 VA's - one for normal speaking and one for singing.

Hazbin Hotel is a Disney-esque adult musical about the princess of hell, Lucifer's daughter, trying to rehab sinners to send them to heaven. It started as a small indie animated pilot on KZfaq, and now 5 years later it has been picked up and made into a full show on Amazon. 90% of the cast are Broadway stars and all of the songs are pretty amazing.

The pilot (episode 0) for Hazbin came out in 2019, but the show itself only came out recently (2024). Also, the character Alastor (the demon in the red suit) is just called Alastor, not Crowley.

The best way I’ve heard the feeling/tone of the Hellaverse be described is “grimsical.” Essentially, it has the sense of joy and fairy tale stories while having a lot of incredible dark and horrifying components. It is definitely a show by and for grown up theatre kids, as a resident grown up theatre kid 😂

I would love you to react to the whole Show its amazing can recomend. Hazbin Hotel plays in Hell and its about the Conflict of Heaven and Hell. Its like a Disney Princess in Hell Musical Show. It got Dark Humour maybe good for Patreaon even though many have reacted to it on youtube too. It started in 2019 (Pilot Episode on youtube cause the didnt wanted any Producers to interfere) but the Seasons released in 2024 (it got 8 Episodes)

Episode 4 is rated 18+ in the UK and for good reason... Im pretty sure all the rest r 16+ tho. Also pls listen to more songs before u watch it!! (If u do watch it). I highly recommend 'Loser, Baby', (my personal favourite) 'Poison', 'Out For Love', 'Stayed Gone' and 'More Than Anything'!!!!!! There r 2 songs per episode and 8 episodes in season 1, we r hopefully getting season 2 next year! Edit: if u do listen to 'Out For Love' u should just listen to the audio!!!! Yes... Out for love is a huge spoiler for those new to the series... And for those who trusted the creator shortly after the pilot, when people started to guess this spoiler plot point, and she denied it. I didn't believe her and assumed she was trying to throw people off the trail.

If you watch the show don’t react to anymore songs, especially “More Than Anything”, “You Didn’t Know”, “The Show Must Go On”, or “Out For Love”, they all have spoilers. Also, the pilot released in 2019. Hazbin Hotel started out as a passion project on KZfaq. It’s made by the same creator of Helluva Boss. It was picked up by Amazon and season 1 released on January 18th 2024.

I would recommend checking out the entire series, it’s a show about a demon born in hell to lucifer and Lilith who wants to reform demons. A lot of the cast have starred on broadway so that’s probably why you recognise some of the characters voices. I also recommend checking out the songs loser baby, poison and stayed gone. The 2019 hazbin hotel was a pilot episode, the full series came out in January of this year.

You got it pretty much spot on the pilot came out on youtube in 2019. Then it got picked up by a studio (A24 and aired on amazon prime) 5 years later. In the meantime the creator's own studio "Spindelhorse" kept making and releasing new episodes of the companion show "Helluva Boss" on youtube. (Currently 15 episodes available there 1 season and a half with more in the works) That show features a different cast but takes place in the same world. Hazbin Hotel focuses more on the sinners (Humans who died and went to hell) and Helluva Boss focuses on the demon's born in hell. Hazbin Hotel was such a success on prime they're already confirmed for a 2nd season (which is already in production) and some people say a third season was also greenlit but I only heard that from other people. Personally I think you should definitely react to the series. Having seen a lot of your reactions now the humor and style would definitely be in your wheelhouse.

The Pilot came out years ago. Got picked up by studios, actors changed out, and episodes 1 finally aired on Amazon recently. Pilot is an overview of what to expect. Topics that that a few episodes explore are like s-xsual ab-se, which is probably why it gets the rating it does. One of the characters is a po-n star. I recommend checking out the vid Addict and Poison if you aren’t gunna watch the show or not gunna watch all songs.

Hazbin Hotel is an adult show since it has a lot of cursing, blood, and sexual themes. The KZfaqr Vivziepop is the creator of both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss which are both in the same universe. The plot for Hazbin came out on KZfaq, was picked up by Amazon and released recently while Helluva Boss continued airing on KZfaq and is still on going.

I LOVE IT!!! My kids introduced this to me a little while ago. Ok, so they showed me the pilot episode years ago, but I didn't remember it when they put the songs on in the car LOL . They had so much fun watching me try to wrap my head around it and now I see why. Yeah, the series earns it's ratings and I couldn't be happier for it

Going into this with zero content is a ballsy move, but Hazbin Hotel and it's sister show Helluva Boss on KZfaq (Which is half way through Season 2) are a must watch. I would highly recommend watching the shows instead of just checking out the songs.

Oh... you innocent boy. I'm prety sure that naming a building whatever isnt a reason for PG 18. I'm very surprised when you said that SOME of episodes are rated R. I cant bring in my mind one episode that wouldnt have warning about "se-xual abu;se". Pilot came in 2019. Not long ago it was picked up by amazon. And now we have full first season. Check song Poison and Loser baby. Then you will understand.

Hazbin Hotel is just a ton of fun. The cast is amazing, the music goes hard, the story is fun, and the lyricism is top notch. The music covers a wide array of genre from jazz to pop to an old-school USO show.

Hazbin hotel is animation series about Charlie, Lucifer's daughter, who wants clean hell's people souls in her hotel. It's hard to understand songs from series without context. I would recommend you to watch all songs in order. I suppose people want to see your reaction. Also I recommend song "Hell is forever", in my opinion it's one of the best songs in this series

Lots of awesome songs suggested, but I think “Happy Day in Hell” would be a really good introduction for you with the show’s mix of dark and whimsy- also help bridge the gap between this video’s songs and some of the heavier stuff (watch yourself with poison, brilliant song and definitely up your alley, but it does not pull punches with its adult subject matter)

Pilot for the Hazbin Hotel was released in 2019. After that people that made it started to release Helluva Boss(you might have heard of that one) on youtube. And in 2023 we got season 1 of Hazbin Hotel show.

Most of the cast are Broadway actors. Alex Brightman, who voices Sir Penterus and Adam, is known for playing Dewy Finn in School of Rock the musical and Beetlegeuse in Beetlejuice the musical, and Boq in Wicked. Erika Henningsen who originated the role of Cady Heron in Mean Girls on Broadway voices Charlie, while her dad, Lucifer, is voiced by Jeremy Jordan, who was in Newsies, and Bonnie and Clide the musical on Broadway. Vox, the TV demon, is voiced by Christian Borle, known for originating the role of Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde the musical on Broadway.

For context, the Red guy is Alaster and he's helping Charli (the girl) run the hotel. The guy in white is Lucifer ("The" Lucifer, yes) and he's Charli's dad. the song is basically them competing for her attention and dependence because the episode was about her calling her dad for help with the thing that was happening (i don't wanna spoil too much)

There is a pilot on KZfaq like you said, there is one full season (8 episodes) that came out recently. 2 songs per episode coming out to 16 songs to listen to, plus a few from the pilot, fan made songs, and music videos.

Super close. “Hazbin Hotel”’s pilot premiered on KZfaq in 2019. And pretty much immediately got picked up by “A2A” studios. The developed series just recently dropped.

I started watching the show today due to the clips and the songs. I finished everything in a day. The song is amazing and it just keeps gettong better. I lobe the atmosphere and the songs. And its absolute fire... Its crazy hlw each of them has their gwnre, color and how the charaxter also has their inatrumwnts or gwnre to them.

I think the target audience is teens and young adults, hence the rating feels all over the place. Another youtuber called the style of this show "grimsical" (grim and whimsical), hence this combination of lively music, and bright colours with grimmer tones and subject matter... and the Tumblr Sexymen everywhere you look. xD I'm glad you gave those two songs a shot though. I'd love to see more Hazbin Hotel reactions. Also, I'm both surprised and happy to know you might actually prefer respectless - it's generally Hell's Greatest Dad which is the more well-liked, which is fine because I like them both the same, but the switch up is nice. (And I love Carmilla, Velvette and Zestial.) The You Tube pilot came out 2019. The rest came out in 2024, and let's just say, given we only got 8 episodes after a 4-5 year wait, and things were rushed, understandably some of the people waiting for this were... not all that happy. But as you didn't have to wait, you might have a more favourable experience. I think the pacing is the biggest issue, as there are too few episodes trying to cover way too much and some events could've been swapped around, but... other than that, I liked a lot of the characters and songs. The pilot is unfortunately not on flipping Amazon (or wasn't, I dunno if that's changed) because they dumb dumbs, but it'll give you a taste of what the show is like - albeit, with different VAs because union and Broadway stuff that I still don't think make for good arguments - and it's free without needing to pirate it. Also, that's just Alastor. Not Crowley. Just good ole' Alastor, the serial killer from New Orleans and radio demon/host - hence the old time-y radio filtered voice. He died in the 1930s. Funny thing is that in "Stayed Gone" he clearly has a rivalry with the TV demon/host.

The catchiest songs in the series that you can react to without completely spoiling yourself, in order: - Happy Day In Hell - Hell Is Forever - Stayed Gone - Whatever It Takes - Poison - Loser, Baby - More Than Anything I'd especially love to see you react to "Hell Is Forever," "Stayed Gone," and "Loser, Baby" personally! There is also a couple of fansongs that have some ties to the official series: "Addict" is a song that's actually sung by the original VAs for two of the characters that the series creator liked so much that she made an official music video for it, and "Insane" was actually made and sung by the original VA for Alastor (the red-haired character who was singing in "Hell's Greatest Dad"!) that isn't *official* official but does give potential interesting insight into some of his backstory... ETA: I'm sure someone else has already told you, but you were right! The pilot episode came out on KZfaq in 2019, and it was picked up by Amazon recently and the actual series aired on Prime in January of this year. There are 8 episode of the series proper, plus that original KZfaq pilot. As a warning if you do watch it, yes, it can get pretty extreme; Episode 4 is especially hard to watch for sexual assault reasons. Also, a lot of the names you didn't recognize are huge on Broadway (Erika Henningsen, the main character's VA, Lucifer's VA Jeremy Jordan, and Mimzy's VA Sarah Stiles have been in some pretty major roles, as have Christian Borle, Joel Perez, Krystina Alabado, Jessica Vosk, Patina Miller, and Leslie Kritzer; Alex Brightman was Beetlejuice in that musical; Daphne Rubin-Vega who sang the non-rapping parts of "Respectless" was the original actress for Mimi in RENT; Lilli Cooper who sang the British rapping part was the original Martha Bessell in Spring Awakening; James Monroe Iglehart was the original Genie in the Broadway Aladdin...) which I thought was really cool!

The show started as a KZfaq pilot in 2019 that garnered such a fanbase that Amazon greenlit a series where the first season came out earlier this year and season 2 in production And if you love Keith David, listen to “Loser, Baby”

Oh please, I know I'm probably just echoing everyone else, but if you want to react to more Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss (its sister youtube series) stuff, I would LOVE it if you would also react to the songs "Poison", "Loser, Baby", More Than Anything", "2 Minutes Notice" and "Just Look My Way", they're all just AMAZING. And both series are so great as a whole, the voice acting is great (to be expected with the all star line up haha), the songs are amazing, and the characters are so funny while also being so much...hmmm how to describe it...REALER than you would expect from them whenever the shows tackle more serious moments.
